Before I got a menial job which I'm currently working on till date, I have stayed unemployed for 10 years.

So, at that time my family became really worried about me and they were anxious. My mother died in this horrible time in my life, and my father out of desperation paid the sum of 800,000 to this guy to help get me a job in a any federal establishment.

August will make it one year since my family paid that money and the only thing we are getting is excuses upon excuses from the guy.

Please guys, is it too early to press the panic button or do you think we are already scammed by this guy?

Yes you're being scammed. Take it case to EFCC they will get your money back and they won't take more than 10k from you. Locate one of their office in your state. Do not be ashamed of your action. Make a move today. Recovery your money! Do not report it to the police or Lawyer. Go to EFCC! I can go with you if you're in Kwara State. You will get your money back!

How can you advise someone who's supporting criminality by giving bribes to take his case to the EFCC?

Na arrest you dey find like this. Him and his scammer will just end up in jail for aiding and abating crimes.

Get street guys to handle that guy and get your money back. Alternatively, use Nigeria police to do it. Don't ever go to the EFCC.

In case job racketeering, both the payee and the payer are culpable. Just so you know!

Sorry you have been scammed.

Your father should have given you that 800k to learn a digital skill. 800k would have given you a good laptop plus data for at least 6months. What you guys did was not smart.

800k that could have set up a nano bank and ajo service for you at look location,100&200 naira charge will go a long way.however, it never too late go on Linkin their jobs for entry level if you don't have any experience forgot about the huge salary get experience first

you were scammed bro, i have similar experience too. there are many of them in the civil service claiming they have job for you, they even own office

If your father is paying 800k to secure a job whose monthly pay based on your level wont be more than 110k you re not from a poor family.

You re simply lazy and irresponsible. Federal civil service doesnt need your type, they have them in excess already.

But you can at least try and make that man's life a living hell but also know you paying to get a civil service job is also a crime albeit not too bad...

If there's a law official you can confide too and tell him your story to see if you can at least put the fear of God in that man, then go ahead.

The person u gave money to was scammed by the person he gave money to. Several of these cases are rife. Person wey go help u no go collect money to get job.

Write to FIJ and provide them with the person's details and other relevant information. Once he sees his name and picture all over the internet, he will return your money.

Go to your state federal senators if you want federal jobs.

Hmmm. Count your loss and move on. During one of the recruiting exercises of FRSC, an officer requested for 500k for a slot then. Like four years ago. Just had to move on with my life.

He will not listen to people like you. Doesn't matter what he did, he will recovery his money. If he is in Kwara State, I can follow him to EFCC office at Tanke Junction. He will get his money back. Anything case as to do with money, don't take it police station or court, take it to EFCC, You will get all your money back.
