A disturbing video has surfaced online showing two Nigerian police officers dragging a young man out of a car and subjecting him to a severe beating. The footage, reportedly captured by a nearby motorist, has quickly gone viral and sparked widespread outrage across social media platforms. shocked

In the video, the victim can be heard screaming, "What did I do?" shocked as the officers repeatedly hit him with a gun and slapped him mercilessly. Through EXTORTION of members of the public, Nigeria policemen, including recruits, want to own SUVs, multistorey houses in every state they serve, sleep with the most beautiful women, including the underage.

You are very funny.
Most of these uniform men lack professionalism.
No matter what is found in his car, he does not deserve to be beaten.

Even if they found something in his car it is most unprofessional and signposts police brutality to beat and treat with the citizen in the manner they did! They should simply have restrained and cuff him.

Same here. Been driving for over 10 years now.

I have driven from Mercedes to Prado.

Once I see a checkpoint from 30m, I slow down, wind down and locate my papers immediately.

If it's at night, I dim my headlights and put on my inner lights.

Over 10 years now, not a single case of police harassment.

There are times I willingly dash them money, especially when returning from club at night.

Naija wahala too much. The more the country gets harder the more these people given guns to protect Nigerians get wild. And all this wahala on the road hinders trade and tourism.
Eg, someone solicited my services to move some items from apapa to seme. I billed them, I then called one or 2 people to find out the current situation on the badagry-seme axis. Omo, I was told the wahala from driving on that road was not worth it. That all the forces expecially customs and police are few hundred meters apart, na so so checkpoints, that we should also hold customs papers and lots of cash. I had to back out of the deal. The people called and called that they will provide excort services, omo, I say I no do, I don't need the stress. Till this morning they even called me from their Cotonue office to plead say make I carry their load, I no gree. Apparently all the people that do my specialised kind of logistics refused going towards the badagry seme axis.
This is what the proliferation of security agents on the road focusing on extortion causes. It desturbs trade.

Even if they had found a rifle in his car, that does not warrant them assaulting him that way. Some of you on this platform are unnecessarily ridiculous.

In as much as the NPF are fond of such behavior, it is also a crime to resist arrest.
This video does not provide sufficient evidence so any wise person shouldn't be quick to judge.
The best thing has done; publicizing the event, let investigation follow then we see the outcome.
so when so one resist arrest an to drag am begin beat abi

Even if they find the head of IGP plus the head of Bola Tinubu plus the head of shetima plus the head of Akpabio in the car, you simply arrest him and take him to the office for interrogation

Manner of approach matters A LOT.

A soft answer can pacify wrath.

Being respectful matters A LOT.

What planet are you? I've experienced cases where police stopped the bike I was traveling with, took my phones, asked me my name and told me to join my mates in their van. That's even one of my many times such events has happened. And of course if I had resisted in all these occasions, I would have received this same beating.

For the man to be crying what did ido shows to an extent that this might be an unprovoked attack.

It is a big shame police officers behaving this bad.
