Finally Divine Oliseh comes in for Simon who has impressed. I hope it is the inform version of Oliseh that is coming in. He is a game changing baller on his day. |

Divine Oliseh was so good at the Wafu B and during the pre Afcon prep games vs CIV, Egypt and more. I really dont know why he is yet to truly settle into his game at this tournament. |

This is a game we should have won to top the group but our poor finishing and childish passes have made our team nonsense dominant They seem to lack basics of football which has made their play terribly poor Now they wait to see who they will face and am not confident they are going beyond the next stage |

TheSuperNerd:doc , ayuma lacks spatial awareness Makes useless mistakes in critical areas . His passes are also not crisp |

I miss Sia1 boyse, they would had fried those Kenyans since Point I noted from this game, no positional play, which eventually LEDs to them score, Again they rush too much, Calma and read your opponent, something the Kenyans use to full advantage, Finally, is it just me ahbi those bois no get stamina, they fall at the slightest Plus ref no try |

TheSuperNerd:I had tried to convince myself about the quality of this team but this Kenya game sums it up for me. They are not as good as the last U20 not to talk of the Obuh's crop. Siasia's boys are like Universes ahead of them Now they are to face a highly gifted, well drilled and strong Sierra Leonean side. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 6:12pm On May 07, 2025 |
Sierra Leone is in Group A. We face 2nd Group C. Ghana or DRC. And Sierra Leone got bashed 4-1 by SA despite their drilling. aicon4s: |

I agree that he plays as if he is forced and looks laid back in his approach but he isnt that terrible to be fair. It was either him or Ochedikwu for that role and to be honest, neither of them impresses me. I just manage them. chuks404: |

TheSuperNerd:Ow OK. I thought the commentator mentioned we are playing Sierra Leone. Maybe he meant Morocco facing Sierra Leone then. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 6:16pm On May 07, 2025 |
Morocco will meet 2nd group A. That is SA for the time being but it could be Sierra Leone if SA wins their last game. aicon4s: |

TheSuperNerd:I am glad to see that Cletus is able to step into this team. His pass for our first goal was a Master piece. His talent is obviously showing. |

The only talents of note on this team are: - Kparobo Arierhi (#9), ST/CF - Odinaka Okoro (#3 ), LB -Emmanuel Chukwu (#22), CB -Simon Cletus (#14), MF -Ebenezer Harcourt (#1), GK I should add Divine Oliseh too but he has been disappointing so far despite shining well in the Wafu B and the pre afcon prep games.

What a shambolic display from the U20 lads. They may fail in their quest to get a world cup ticket on Monday. Ladan bosso boys were better off than this squad joor. Peradventure they get the world cup ticket, the coach would have to beef up the squad with players like Daniel Daga, Frederick Benjamin and other players in the diaspora (foreign born). |

That lad is so young and his physical development isnt at par with the other U20 lads currently but a real talent is there. aicon4s: |

TheSuperNerd:I can see how you didn't add Bameyi Or even talk about him Because he is not your favourite right? |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 6:30pm On May 07, 2025*. Modified: 7:01pm On May 07, 2025 |
Daga in the midfield at this Afcon would have made a world of difference. His passport situation that made him miss the Wafu B before his move to Molde was finalised cut him off from the team and his strong start to life at his new Norwegian club couldnt get them to release him. He is missed and if this team picks the WC ticket, about 70-75% of the team needs to be dropped. Daninya33: |

Bameyi is doing well. But sadly, he is not young like the others. Samueltemi337: |
