Deeperlifer looks like JWs because Kumuyi was once a JW but he wanted a monetized ministry whereas JW is not monetized so nobody can make money through JW organization.

JEHOVAH'S WITNESS is operating at a different level.
They have been steadfast, resolute and committed.
I hold no grudge against them. They downplay commercialization of churches.
They entertain persecutions a lot, in fact more than several Christian bodies.
Seems in their church everyone is at same level irrespective of your degree, financial acquaintance and contacts.
And it seems they obey the Bible the most:
-They hardly disturb neighbors during prayers.
-They frown at intimidation and flamboyant lifestyles.
-They ensure financial gifts are covered and never displeased at whatever they recieve.
-Their members would make good politicians but they frown at politics
I respect them. I judge based on actions and not what I'm told.

Quite true. JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES are actually one of the few denominations who are still following Christ. Most churches now are headed by motivational speakers who only use the name of Jesus to preach other things. The goal is to attract members to their church and the members will bring the money.

They do not pay tithes. They are the only Christian denomination yet to be commercialized. They are my favourite.

I respect these people. They don't worship God because they are scared of hell. The truth is, if Christians imbibed some of their lifestyles the world won't be this corrupt. They don't do the fall and die prayer. They understand love more than these other churches.

I am convinced that JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES are the real religion, they do everything in line with the bible.

I would love to be a JEHOVAH'S WITNESS, because of their gentle life. Relaxed service and programs(not those stressful and loud types), and serenity of their church yard. Infact, its this serenity of their abode that blows my mind!

But the thing that worries me, is their misled teachings. How can you say that we are not going to die, but remain on earth and unite with our love ones and live happily together forever!

Those deeper life leaders problem cannot be solved by this teaching. It's somehow a mixture of hatred, unforgiveness, jealously and protectionism that makes them discipline, frustrate, blackmail and chase away their young ones who practice speaking in tongues, who are gifted in the prophetic or are are aggressively involved in leading others to engage in prayer. Those deeper life pastors have what bible calls cloak of maliciousness. What does it mean?

They envy you but will not acknowledge it is envy. They are secretly afraid that if you set up a church, they could lose followers. But they never try to understand your mission first.

Rather they look at legalistic rules within the church. They look at the church traditions to find what they can use to punish you and kill you. The best weapon is so called disciplinary actions. You could be suspended for up to one or two years in a row and while you are under suspension rumours about you being occultic, rebellious will be going round. The members in their simplistic and sanctimonious ways will start avoiding you for fear of the high handedness of their pastor not descending on them.

Deeperlife today is almost like a cult with fearful followers of high handed pastors who are not obedient to scriptures despite that they preach it. Those pastors are more about maintaining their control over the people than anything else. Or else, how do you explain their actions? Where in every location of deeper life, those who speak in tongues while leading prayer during holy ghost impartation services are considered occultic or rebels and have to serve disciplinary actions. Deeperlife is like that everywhere but the more religious members try to deny the coercion and erroneous application of disciplinary action in settling personal scores by deeper life leaders. Pastor Kumuyi, you have tried. But at this stage nothing you can do to change those pastors, not even your teachings except you discipline them anyhow the way they discipline people. That's the language they understand

Kumuyi was once a JW member that's why most of his moves resembles that of JWs, if anyone knows his old magazines in the 80s/90s you will notice that all the artistic impressions were taken from JW magazines but photocopy type. So Kumuyi tried to hide his JW orientation but it wasn't easy today he's now trying to change everything because he discovered that with all his brain people like Adeboye, Oyedepo and Olukoya are making money and followers more than him.

Though God has warned His worshipers thousands of years ago to abstain from blood {Genesis 9:4} stating it'll guarantee good health {Act 15:28-29} but faithless people feels the book (Bible) shouldn't be the sole determinant of whatever they choose to do with their lives as it's an old book written by people they don't know.

Today health practitioners around the world are enlightening their people against the hazards of blood transfusion.

I remember when Deeper life dedicated their new HQ in Gbagada. The sound engineer they brought was a Nigerian-American. Lady had zero f-cks to give. She left her hair open with her long attachments and wore trousers. I was surprised to be honest.

A number of these churches will be in crises in the near future. With aging GO's, nebulous plans of succession and declining populations, it will be hard to see them maintain the many branches they have around.
