Tactically disenfranchising the populace and leaving the choices of governance in the hands of few greedy, corrupt and compromised politicians! SMH!

A one-party system might work for China, but Nigeria is a different terrain entirely because we thrive on diversity and the balance of opposing views. Democracy is about options, accountability, and healthy competition. If every dissenting voice joins the ruling party, who will question excesses or check abuse of power?
What’s missing isn't more defectors, it’s stronger institutions and performance based politics.
Nigeria doesn’t need fewer parties, what we need are parties that actually serve the people not just switch sides for survival of stomach infrastructure.
We dey watch una.
What have the diversity and opposing views done for Nigeria? Just give me an example of how these have helped governance.

Obi can never contemplate one party system in a country of multi religious and multi ethnic groups. It's a recipe for disaster.

But wait!

Does China has the same corrupt mindset that Nigeria politicians have, can you - APC, make law to execute corrupt politicians or sentence them to long term imprisonment either before or now? huh

I know Ganduje will not be able to answer that question because he will be in first batch

Until you take selfishness out of Nigeria politics, we will NEVER get anywhere.

My take
First Batch grin grin I no fit laugh o you understand wella

In terms of serial number, what would be his position? grin

1) China is a one party system yet it is not a disaster
2) Obi can never bring Nigeria together because he is too dull with a very low IQ and he is a bitter and hateful tribalist
3) Why are 0BIDIENTS always trying to divide Nigerians under ethnic and tribal lines. Why do you 0BIDIENTS always get upset and bitter whenever Nigerians and united and making progress?

One party system will not make politics interesting anymore because all electorates would have known who will emerge winner after parties primary election. opposition parties is the main reason politics is interesting.

Not to say that there is no corruption in China because there is plenty but the CCP would have executed a man like Ganduje 100 times already.

In his mind, he thinks Nigerian political criminals will allow a one party state, he must be dreaming.
Some policriminals are jumping from one party to another to protect their loot, they will still jump to another party once they're sure of protection.

Senseless politicians are very picky when making comparison but don't do the exact thing those people do. The slowpoke is quick to use China as example of a one party state. But will give an excuse if reminded that China executes corrupt politicians.

He won't be alive to use China as example if he were a Chinese politician. Babariga criminal.

Gandollar again, because the corruption is favouring him.
Nigerian politicians are selfish and ingrates.
They will only speak against when the system doesn't favor them and be quick to align even at the detriment of the people!

If this happens under Buhari, hmmm, the southerners would have crucify him to the last. Some would have been calling for dissolution of the country since.

Double standard

Abdullahi Ganduje - the former Kano governor whose dollar bribery videos shocked the nation yet faced no consequences - remains the perfect symbol of Nigeria's accountability crisis. While ordinary citizens face harsh economic realities, the powerful operate with impunity even when caught on camera pocketing stacks of foreign currency.

Three disturbing truths this case reveals.
1️⃣ Our broken justice system - Clear video evidence exists yet no prosecution

2️⃣ The hypocrisy in leadership - Same politicians moralize about anti-corruption

3️⃣ Why foreign investors hesitate - When bribe-taking officials face no consequences

Ganduje's case isn't just about one man - it's about the systemic rot that keeps Nigeria poor while a few profit from dysfunction.** Until we demand real accountability from all leaders regardless of party or position, this cycle will continue.

Y’all never learnt anything keeping been stupid!

They will hold you to this your statement very soon. When the situation will be reversed and you become the opposition and it starts getting to what we have today and you will protest, it is the same thing they will say to you. And you will have a taste of your own bitter medicine.

APC started doing the politics of 'do or die' while they were in opposition threatening to burn the whole country down if they loose. They brought bandits to Nigeria to fight if they lost the elections, now they want to die in power luring all corrupt politicians and public servants with protection and cover against prosecution.

Time shall tell

Classic low IQ leader with nothing of value to offer.

Seems you expected much from Ganduje.

That’s a fair question. Diversity and opposition by themselves don’t fix a country, but they create the pressure that holds leaders accountable.

For instance, in 2015, the presence of a strong opposition (APC at the time) helped unseat a sitting president for the first time in our history. That peaceful transition wasn’t perfect, but it showed that power isn’t permanent and leaders can be voted out.

When there’s no real opposition, impunity grows and that’s when things fall apart silently. Nigeria’s problem isn’t too many parties, it’s weak institutions and leaders who don’t respect the people, regardless of party.

Losers are already seen their failures .
Watch as they blackmail with one party system all over the media.
Is it the job of the president to organize the opposition?
