Senate President Ahmad Lawan on Sunday said any officer found short of expectations should be shown the way out if he refuses to go. Lawan, who briefed State House reporters after meeting President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, said the National Assembly was ready to receive supplementary budget to tackle the security challenge, including the recruitment of more personnel in various security agencies in the country. https://www.dailytrust.com.ng/non-performing-service-chiefs-can-go-senate-president.html 3 Likes 1 Share

Recommendation or just normal talk? Is SP begging the service chiefs to do their job? These people don't even know the function of the position they are holding... 14 Likes 2 Shares |

Well it's just that you senators claim to be elected, else the Nigerian public would have recommended that you guys all go too for gross non-performance, cos you have had no value to society order than being a rubber stamp in the hands of the executive especially when loans are to be taken. Ur love for considering all Buhari's loan requests is as though you are bank marketers 39 Likes 2 Shares |

This is the only thing they care about Lawan, who said the security situation in the country especially in the northern part of the country required that more resources be given to the security agencies 16 Likes |

Rubber stamp Rubber stamp senate president is saying that service chiefs are not performing nd they need to go, Lawal had forgotten the adage that says " One who must come to justice most come with clean hands. Apart from approving Buhari's every political appointee nd loan request what else does Senate under his leadership does. Lawal should leave the service chiefs alone nd focus on his job of approving every Buhari loan request. 29 Likes 1 Share |

Those who have mastered how to run the 'insecurity business' and those who are useful in the JIHAD war, cannot be sacked like that. Besides, do you want a southerner to come and expose their secrets. 5 Likes |
