As a Christian one parable or story in the bible comes to mind about a master who employed servants to work for him, he went out in the morning and got some workers, later in the afternoon and evening he went out again and got more workers, meanwhile he agreed with them their wages and paid them but when the earlier workers discovered that everyone irrespective of their arrival got same wages, they went to grumble to the master about perceived injustice 😂. Interesting read. It seems her colleagues are cooking a pot of soup for her. Reminds me of what we say about a community cooking for one person. Wouldn't be surprised she finds a way to hang on, drag it out and destroy their chances further.

Fairly early days but KS should fastrack his plans and try to deliver on houses.

Its all exposes the dilema politicians over the last 20yrs have faced- everyone complains about the state of public sevices but when the try to raise money via taxing certain segments, reducing fraud or bringing in good minds to help grow the economy, they get a backlash. People want to have their cake and eat it.

Its for this sole reason and good checks in place that I don't mind NF at the helm - would be better than him being the main opposition.

That's the only problem with branch, their app is region locked..... You could either use an older apk (not locked) or simply invest with Alat (wema)....

They offer similar rates.... Alat offers 8.75 Apr. I also have an Alat account, this is downloadable and updatable (via UK playstore).....

That's good news for folks already here.
Net migration has already dropped by 20% in 2024 to728k, thanks to the visa restrictions and dependant crackdown introduced by the previous conservative government.
With the new hardline rules about to be introduced by labour soon, i expect net migration to further drop down in 2025 and 2026 to near record levels.

Despite these, i still believe it may take additional 1 to 3yrs for vacancy rate to return to pre-covid levels (Excluding any possible economic slowdown).

For those who have applied for American visa from the UK, I need assistance and opinion. I submitted my application and wants to book an appointment for interview. I was meant to visit the US on five days holiday at the beginning of September this year. I have already booked the tour and hotel which I used the dates for my visa application. while I was trying to book an appointment, I discovered that the earliest date on the calender was ending of September. Will it be okay if I reapply adjusting the dates of my travel/holiday, maybe October and November or should I keep hoping to have earlier dates for me to grab??

It actually doesn’t matter cos that’s the available date you can get. Just that in these days of Trump you can’t predict anything but this has never been an issue and am talking from experience.

A typical example, they would be usually nice enough to offer you £0 deposit, but a £5K car finance deal, wouid eventually cost you a total repayment of £9K...... At the end of final payment, the vehicle is only worth £1K5....😁

If i was in your shoes, I would NEVER book a holiday, if the countries visa is not already resting in my passport and my passport is resting in my potmonto.......... 😁😂

I'm surprised that Labour is allegedly proposing to make changes to the PSW route when that is pretty much the one area that the Tories left alone in their immigration reforms.

We'll get the full deets tomorrow but I hear that the PSW may be extended from 2 to 3 years. However, reports are that it will also be restricted to graduate level jobs - so a bit of a mixed picture.

It should be good news for students though if they have an extra year to explore post-study opportunities.
