I'll rather get or renew my Canadian visa for far less fees, on a new passport valid for 10 years . Canada can give you up to 10 years visa on your new passport, covering the entire valid period. Just get a 10-year validity passport, period!

Convert £1,059 to naira,that's enough to start a reasonable business

And it's non refundable , this is where the steal is really is...... Why not refund a part of you won't grant visa ?

Why should anyone want to go to the UK sef?

UK visa fees are just too high. They are making a killing from Naija. Comparatively, US visa fee of $185 which gives 5 years is cheaper than UK visa fee of $176, which is just for 6 months.

I don't advise anybody to go to uk for anything now or the near future. Their systems are collapsing. They are fighting war in Ukraine, fighting immigrants, blocking all loopholes to immigrants, extending length of time and costs for indefinite leave and citizenship.

I regret why I did not apply for 10 years, instead I went for 5yrs the which expires in 2028.

The difference in the fee was about 200 USD. The idea of going through this process in future is annoying.

😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 You have just slim chances of getting the visa with the new policies in place already and some other hard stands coming up soon. Infact, getting such 10YRS wouldn't be easy at all and sadly considering wasting such amount on a Visa, UK visa for that matter that wouldn't give you the eligibility to work or do some other important things like short term certification. You can't even stay at a stretch, not more than a certain time....I think 3 to 6 months interval...........
