If I Were Satan and I Wanted to Destroy Africa, Here’s Exactly What I’d Do

Recorded by voice, transcribed to text by AI.

If I were Satan, and my mission was to destroy Africa—not with fire or war, but with something more permanent—I would not use obvious weapons. I would simply attack their roots, their food, their minds, and ultimately, their faith.

First, I would convince African parents that school is superior to farming—that farming is for failures, for villagers, for the unclean and uneducated. I’d glamorize degrees over dirt, papers over produce. I’d plant the belief that unless you are a graduate, you are nothing.

Then I’d make sure their children grow up despising the soil that once fed their ancestors. I’d make them chase certificates, not skills. I’d ensure every household glorifies education—not for enlightenment, but for ego. Everyone must become a "graduate" even if they graduate into unemployment. I’d redefine success as suits, offices, and air conditioners—not seeds, seasons, and harvests.

Food is power. So I would sever Africa’s connection to it.

Once they abandon farming, they’ll become slaves to food prices. I’ll make them labor endlessly in cities, chasing salaries that are barely enough to cover rent, let alone a basket of groceries. They will exchange 8 hours of work for food they could have grown in their backyard.

To ensure the disconnect becomes permanent, I’ll fill their heads with status-driven delusions—that digging the ground is beneath them. I’d stir ego, pride, and classism, convincing them that returning to farm life means failure. And yet 90% of their expenses will be on what comes from that very soil.

I would hijack the education system too—turning it into a factory that mass-produces empty minds with inflated egos. Let them memorize theory without wisdom, get degrees in fields irrelevant to their community’s needs, and spend their youth chasing “white-collar” jobs that barely exist.

Meanwhile, I would corrupt the youth. In schools, I’d introduce cultism, normalize prostitution, elevate shallow celebrity lifestyles, and wrap it all up in the name of “freedom.” By the time they’re 25, many will be spiritually empty, financially broke, morally lost, and physically exhausted.

If some of them awaken and dare to go back to the land, I won’t rest. I’ll send insurgents. I’ll create conflict zones. I’ll fund bandits and armed groups to raid their farms, kill their hope, and burn their crops. I’ll make rural life unsafe so they flee back to cities, where I chain them to corporate slavery and rising food prices.

Now that I’ve cornered them economically, I’ll monopolize food production. I’ll buy thousands of hectares of land through shell companies. I’ll fund massive agribusinesses controlled by outsiders. My associates and I will become the only ones capable of feeding the nation.

And to make the pain complete, I’ll manipulate fuel prices. Since modern agriculture and food transport depend on fuel, I’ll collaborate with oil cartels to raise prices. As transportation costs rise, so will food prices. But salaries? They’ll remain stagnant. The average African will be crushed under the weight of rising costs, earning just enough to survive but never enough to break free.

Now, let me weaponize religion.

Africans are deeply spiritual, so I will twist that gift into a cage. I’ll flood their airwaves with pastors and imams who preach only miracles—not discipline, not work, not strategy. I’ll make religion emotional, not transformational.

Let them spend hours in prayer, but never touch a hoe.

Let them fast for financial breakthrough, but never learn a skill.

Let them wait on divine harvests while ignoring the laws of sowing and reaping.

Let them cry out to God while the real solutions—discipline, planning, agriculture, innovation—lie ignored at their feet.

I’ll convince them that poverty is spiritual warfare, not economic mismanagement. That prosperity is only for the lucky or the “anointed.” I’ll make them sow seeds into mega-churches while their own soil lies fallow. I will keep them spiritually high but physically hungry.

Eventually, the society will decay. With no food sovereignty, no economic control, and a misplaced sense of faith, crime will rise. Depression will rise. Young men will steal, young women will sell themselves, and everyone will blame the devil, not the system I’ve built.

They’ll turn to governments for help—but I’ll already control them.

I will devalue their currency so that no matter how hard they work, they will never have enough. They’ll fight over tribal lines, over politics, over religion—never realizing that their real enemy is their disconnection from the soil, their false sense of progress, and their blind worship of Western lifestyles.

Even a man driving a Lamborghini cannot survive four months without food.

But by then, I will have succeeded.

They will beg me to feed them… from the very land they abandoned.

And that, my friend, is how I would enslave Africa without chains.

If you want to destroy a people without war, just normalize sexual immorality (freedom), mental slavery is the worst form of slavery.

Even in advanced countries, places like China and USA, people work on the farm and other people work with different sectors.

I don't get the ideology behind always condemning academic certification.

You people hype agriculture like it's the only thing that can give you a path to wealth.

Lemme tell you, one of the reasons India is poor today is because most of their citizens are farmers, they spend most of their time on the farm and agricultural produce is their main source of income.

Almost all the countries have embraced self-dependent agricultural practice, this is not the 20th century when one particular country is dependent on another for food.

Too much of harvest will paralyse the price of agriculture produce.

Everybody cannot be on the Farm.
Some people need to keep your money.
Some people need to fix your machines that you use on the same farm.

Some people need to supply the fertilizers that you use.

Some people need to study on the best climate and water level to ensure maximum harvest.

Some people need to provide good roads to transport produce to where they can be sold.

Shelter is man's basic need. Some people need to study how to build good structures. All these things require academic certifications.

This is not rocket science. When there is too much harvest in the market, the price of farm produce drops and that's a loss for the farmers.

Farming is not for everybody, the same way white collar job isn't for everybody.

From 2009 to the fall of 2015. The price of cassava dropped very woefully at the markets in Oyo State. Do you know why?
It was because prior to 2009, cassava was sold at high price and many people because of that went into cassava farming in large scale so much more that there was a sudden influx of harvest into the market and the price dropped.

What about pepper? In 2013 to early 2021. A 50kg salt sac full of pepper sometimes was sold at ₦200 in shasha market because there was too much harvest.

I've been into crop farming and fish farming.

A certain individual came to me for consultation on fish farming so I took him to my uncle because I wasn't making any production that period.

My uncle had been raising fishes for about 30 years now. And lemme tell you the truth, last year he went about looking for a white collar job.

Farming can give you a very huge kind of money that you never expected in your life in one year, and take back all the money and even run you into debt the next two years.

I'm not saying white collar job is better than Farming. I'm only saying everybody cannot be at the same place.

Agriculture will give plenty of food, yes of course. But it cannot sustain the economy. People will be well fed, but they will be poor.

Look at India and Mali where 80% depends their livelihood on agriculture yet they are considered poor both by global and regional standards.

If you wanted to destroy Africa it is very easy.
I agree with the religious tactics.
The other thing you can do is to sow a seed of greed into the heart of everyone and see how we'll wipe one another out in less than 10 years

I didn't read the post cos it's too lengthy, maybe after work I may read it.

But Satan does not destroy, it's only God that destroys.
Check the bible, Satan never destroyed anything. the only time he tortured someone and killed his children, it was directed by God

We should stop pointing fingers to anything else but us.

Crying about being manipulated, colonized and subjugated by the whites but the Asian tigers (Japan and China even Malaysia and Singapore) experienced this things but now are among the most important countries in the world right now.

But we are still crying everyday of how PEOPLE are stopping us from being better than we are right now and it's pathetic tbh.

I keep asking myself what this mental blockage that prevents us from seeing past old colonialism rhetorics. Why can't we focus on how we can better our lot and stop pointing accusing fingers everywhere?

Are we so mentally handicapped in that the Asians did but we cannot do same.

Why didn't this nonsense devil's plan not work for Asians or even South Americans?

Why must it work in Africa or is the devil selective?

What is wrong with my fellow blacks?

The fundamental problem of poor Africans is not but inability to solve our physiological needs. For a country to break a chain of underdevelopment, food should be the cheapest thing her citizen should worry about. You can't succeed as country withiout robust human resource. It is humans that drive the economy and not the other way round. Foods and good nutritions are primary requirements to promoter better human resources. You cant be hungry and talk about development. Development is a collective endeavour that all citizen must be Carrie along. This is the secrete of developed countries that dumb Africans fail to copy.

For Nigeria or Africa to achieve a meaningful socio-economic development, we must first past through Agririans societies in a modern way( because our forefathers had miss out on this ladder of development). Mechanised farming should be our main focus in Africa. Food should be most cheapest thing to obtain that even unemployed person can comfortably feed with all round nutritious foods.

As absurd as this may sounds, we have no business with modernity brought by developed Europe and America if we want to succeed in Africa. We need to start from Agririan communities, to technological advancement.

Note: when talking about Agririan societies, all citizens are not expected to farm, what it means is that, majority of our needs and focus will come from the nature.

What relevant has that with my contribution. Mention one invention apart from destruction from Saudi Arabian, Iraq, Iran, etc. All inventions that help humanity are from countries that don't serve Allah. In china, mosques are being pulled down everyday. Islamists have made America toxic, Germany is enacting anti -iskamic laws

With the rise of Islam in Nigeria, Africa, that is the doom of the continent.
You as a Muslim, tell the truth: which scientific, economic, legal principles are traceable to Muslims. If there were any, they were before the people became engrossed in pure Islam.

Full fledged Islam is the easiest way to destroy Africa.

One of your sheikhs even preached recently that is you tie satellite disc to your house, you are going to hell.

List 10 top scientists that are atheist and I'll list 20 that are theist

One of the reasons I really don't like to argue with many people on NL is because you lot talk based on what you think and emotions but without any realistic opinion.

First of all, i never said agriculture was bad. I only laid emphasis and on the fact that not everyone should farm.

Now you made many wrong assertions. I won't argue with you further if you didn't get the point just this once.

You said "for a country to break the chain of underdevelopment , food should be the cheapest thing."
The statement up there is the wrongest thing to say.
If you read a lil bit into some economic materials you would realize the error in that statement.
As I've said in my previous post. Mali and India produce plentiful agricultural produce yet they are not developed. What happened to your statement.

US is a developed country, yet food is more expensive in the US more than it is in Mali and Nigeria, how come? Why didn't the cheap food break the yoke of underdevelopment in Mali and Nigeria?
Or why did The US develop in spite of their relatively high food prices?

How cheap food is has nothing to do with development.
Food is considered cheap in China but it's still more expensive than it is in Nigeria. It costs about $150 to purchase groceries for homemade meals in China for a month. That's about ₦270,000 in Nigeria. Yet china is developed more than Nigeria where food is cheaper.

You guys need to understand that some things are not feasible. The only difference between developed countries is that, the citizen can easily afford food because the economy is good.

Please get your facts right.
Malaysia's growth isn't due to their agriculture produce.
Though agriculture contributes to their economy, just like it is in every other country where agriculture is being practiced, but agriculture isn't what made Malaysia grow. I'll have you know that just about 10% of Malaysians are into anything related to agriculture.

One of the reasons Malaysia is enjoying immesnse growth is due to their tourism and attractions.

I never said agriculture is bad, if you read and understood my post, you'll realise I only defended other jobs and endeavour.
There is nothing that can boost the economy of country like innovations, tourism, pilgrimage, education e.t.c agriculture can also play a role of course but now that almost all the countries are into agriculture, which country do you intend to sell to?

Food is not the only reason we are alive. We are no longer in the stone age where you can treat yourself with just herbs and roots. There are serious sicknesses and diseases now. You can't cure appendix with dongoyaro leaves concoction neither can you treat Asthma with herbs nor treat a broken bone with propitiations.
Even during the stone age, there had always been people who didn't work on the farm.

If you had a truck load full of rice in your apartment, you can still die of something as simple as malaria, headache or stomach ache.

You are still alive because some people are in that same white collar category that you spoke ill of. I'm very sure you know that researches on formulation of drugs are not carried out on farmlands. Surgical equipments are not built by farmers.

As a matter of fact, if you're sick and there is no drug (that the people in white collar category manufactured). You will not be able to eat.

You said of what good is degree? And that you can invent things without degree or good English.

So you are saying someone who does not have a degree can perform surgeries and attend to serious illness and conduct chemotherapy?
One of the reasons people should have degree is for them to know the importance of having a degree.
You can never find someone who has a degree downplay it. Unless the ones who graduated with poor results.

And lemme tell you, food cannot be cheap in Nigeria. Because if food were cheap, it means agriculture produce is cheap and that's a loss to farmers.
The price of fertilizers are very exorbitant, pesticides and herbicides are very expensive. Workers now charge high rate.
Feeds are very expensive, treatment for livestocks and fishes are now very expensive

To plough a piece of land now is no child's play. Do you have an idea how much diesel it will cost to plough an acre of land?

After all these, you still expect farmers to sell at cheaper prices. Isn't that wickedness?

And you want many people to go into farming, how many people can afford these things. And even if they could, the more they buy the more expensive it becomes and at the end of the day, farmers will still dap a loss.

The only thing that can make food sale at cheaper prices in Nigeria is if the government subsidizes the price of food. How?

They should either buy directly from farmers at higher prices and resell into the market at lower prices or they should be in charge of providing food for the citizens. And we both know the latter can never be possible because we all know how a certain individual converted Operation Feed The Nation into his own personal treasury.

I read your first line and didn't see a need to read everything.

Food comprises of water, drink, fruit and everything from soil.

Food is the only reason you're alive. Every other thing is distraction and attraction = man made.

Let's go 10 years without consuming something that comes from the soil and see if you won't find yourself in your grave with all your degrees and technology.

No need to argue.

I'm sorry to say but it's obvious you didn't read to understand me.

How on earth could you say food comprises of water? How? This is one of the reasons degree is important.

No matter how hungry you are, and you are about to eat a spoon of rice. if you saw some people coming towards you and shooting their gun. You will abandon your food and flee to safety.
You won't even remember the food, your safety comes first.

Food sustains life. Safety protects life. You can go 4days without food. You can't survive a day if you're not in safety.

There are too many people on the surface of the world today, without this technology and degrees. There won't even be enough harvest to feed everyone.

And again, don't try to spin off the reason for this discussion. I never said agriculture is bad, my point right from time is that not everyone should go into agriculture as you've claimed.

So if you wanted to prove a point to me, come at me with why everybody should go into agriculture amd abandon degree and not why food is essential because I never said food isn't essential.

Get my point straight, agriculture is important but degree is also very important depending on the course of study
