When i saw that this u20 guys will go to Chile for the world cup....i said kai, Chile again, Chile 1987!!! I remembered that there was a country called Yugoslavia, they came to that world cup with Robert Prosinecki, Davor Suker, Boban, Mijatovic, etc and won it......they went on to become football greats. Personally, that our u20 squad remains our best , better that 1989 set...in terms of talent, skill and grit... There was so much hope, hype and glamour with that team....and finally Etim ~Maradona`~ Esin torpedoed the team. We came last in the group stage. Concepcion....this city has remained indelible in my mind....here, right inside this stadium, Brazil humiliated us 4--0 in the first match..it was a long night then! CHILE AGAIN!!! |

Lol, with their disorganized defence. Kparobo will eat them for dinner again like he did at the Wafu B final. No caps. elyte89: |

zuchyblink:Which super eagles? Because they were playing against their fellow junior team? Wait for them to move to Europe and start playing professional football against senior teams before u can make such claims, unless u can tell me they are exceptional talents? |

yinkeys:Basically, the Brazilian league or any good south American league is just as good as any league outside European top 5 leagues. So the Brazilian league is as good as the Dutch or Belgium, Portuguese, Turkish, Greek etc league. Also, a good african league is better than all these obscure Lithuania, Moldovan etc eagues some of our players go. In fact, doing well in the south american or african leagues can get you to Europe. Even if it doesn't at least one will have a good career. This is how our goalkeeper in the south african league seems at least competent. Sao Paolo fc will defeat galatasary if they play. |

Benjamin is backup striker to Kparobo and the system Aliyu uses employs a lone striker supported by two wingers and the midfield. He is a fine talent as well, very strong on the ball, has got a good shot and I love his mental profile. He can play in a front two but I think Zubairu is right to start him from the bench, bringing him in either to replace or play alongside Arierhi Kparobo. deltafly: |

Triple OG speaking. My first under 20 World Cup was Nigeria 1999 but I was a kid then . My favorite under 20 squad I witnessed live is 2005 set and the most disappointing is 2009/2013/ 2015 set . FIFA under 20 World Cup remains my 2nd favorite competition after the senior World Cup gamaliel9: |

Nigeria goal ratio at the u20 AFCON has not been very impressive with just 4 goals in 4 games. Although we have done well at the defence . We need to be more clinical in from of goal Imagine one player Kamara has same number of goal nigeria has scored if it's the days of Osimhen we would. Have painted the tournament with goals . Here are the top scorers in the competition so far: Momoh Kamara (Sierra Leone) – 4 goals Thabang Mahlangu (South Africa) – 3 goals Samuel Ntanda (DR Congo) – 2 goals Noah Makanza (DR Congo) – 2 goals Cheikh Tidiane Thiam (Senegal) – 2 goals Lawrence Ouma (Kenya) – 2 goals Yassir Zabiri (Morocco) – 2 goals |

Raphinha plays Baseball?? No higher performing winger than that Brazillian this season, truth be told. Except Salah. Salah and Raphinha lead the way in 24/25. BankyGee: |
