What gospel did the early church preach. Read through the book of Acts. They all preached Christ. And the message centers on his death, burial and bodily resurrection. This is why Paul wrote:

Corinthians 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God IN THE FACE OF JESUS

I would love to be a Jehovah witness, because of their gentle life. Relaxed service and programs(not those stressful and loud types), and serenity of their church yard. Infact, its this serenity of their abode that blows my mind!

But the thing that worries me, is their misled teachings. How can you say that we are not going to die, but remain on earth and unite with our love ones and live happily together forever!

Jesus referred to God as Father most of the times. But it has nothing to do with preaching of the gospel. The Gospel is about the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. But you don't preach that. Do you.

The scripture says

Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Read the entire chapter, Peter is talking about the name of Jesus.

You just use one verse of scripture to establish a doctrine and ignore many others that doesn't agree with your pre conceived opinion. You are hopelessly lost and brainwashed.

They try to maintain their place of worship. Their friendly worship style without loud speakers obviously is charming. JW didn't say you won't die, and uniting with your loved ones should be a good thing. If your interest is going to heaven, that's definitely a hope the saints will attain, but we will still come back to earth. The church teach that.

I think if you enjoy sweet environment, the Church of Later day saints trumps the JWs. The LDS outshines the JWs in there pretty modest Church environment. When a core JW, I used to appreciate their Church environment. It's sweet and charming. Woow.

Russell and Rutherford worked to fulfill what God promised in the Bible which is one big and happy family of peace loving worshipers {Isaiah 2:2-4} this is so clear that throughout the world people are talking about the peace the world could have had if everyone is a JW!
