you came in the right bus stop that's the phone I'm presently using! And I can confidently tell you this phone is the beast!
The only downside I can tell you is the front camera real bad front camera!
You won't be even comfortable taking pictures with the front camera because you will be seeing your face as potato 🥔, hence potato front camera!

But the back camera is super awesome 👍😎 and very good together with his video department.

For the processor department! I haven't experience any lacking or overheating issues so far so good! And I do play some games like cod and delta force on ultra graphics and the phone give out no issues at all and can handle all tasks with ease ( thou my is the 12/256 GB option)

The first time I brought it was having a battery drain issue which the battery is 6000mah but with recent updates the battery got optimised and I can tell you the battery can last longer. I don't have any issues with the battery so far so good!

So far so good I don't think you will see any good phone than this with this price range ( this I can confidently tell you) there's no phone as good as this with this price range in 2025. ( Unless some unscrupulous infinix and Tecno agents talked you in to buy their products! Even the new infinix note 50pro isn't even Half as good as this with the same price range)

If you are those bootloader tamperer fans!
I don't think this phone is for you because of the mtk processor.

This phone Came out since January and I'm jet to see real negatives reviews like hardware issues or phone lagging or over heating issues! This just show how good the phone is!

Everything you wrote up there is true. However, the bold is not always true. Give it just 1 or 2 years from now, those Indian boys will unlock bootloader. They practically did it with the G-series of mtk and have started unlocking some dimmensity mtk.

i am using this phone presently but if you want to really enjoy this phone go for the 12gb ram version.
Aldo I do experience just one time overheating and it was due to me recording video on 4k 60 FPS and was on 5g network for so long on a Sunny day! But the weather was so hot that particular day which was over 41 degrees Celsius here in the northern part of Nigeria.
That was the only time I ever experience over heat warning! I do play games alot and I don't and I don't experience lagging or overheating or such.
For me the only thing I don't like is the front camera Aldo I'm not a selfie kind of person. I only make use of the back camera to snap my farm products and the rest and people do say that my phone camera video and pictures is so clear and ask which phone I'm using to take those pictures and videos.

It's a matter of time, just like the other guy said up there! Even now, findings have shown that unlocking bootloader on their devices (not only DM series) running HyperOs 2.0, android 15, has been made difficult. But how long will the restrictions last? Time will tell.

Cos I can see a Tecno Camon 40 premier with Dimensity 8350. I'll compare both and draw my conclusions after handling next week

you cant compare dimensity 8350 with dimensity 8400u! This two processors are far apart!


Tecno 40 premier should be in the likes of Poco X6 pro

They are not far apart. Dimensity 8400u would perform better but not by a landslide. I would also compare other features like AI, camera, battery, build e.t.c. the results would speak for themselves and show the strengths and weaknesses of each device

Stick to Global Versions. Xiaomi is stricter with bootloader unlocks now aside the 4G bands deficiencies.

And the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro is a better device asides cameras maybe and should be launched globally as the Poco F7 hopefully.

I don't know what they checked at the repair centre but was just told it isn't working again, that they can't fix it.

This is the first time I'd be using a Xiaomi device(Redmi 3 Pro). It's cool and kind of odd when people ask you the kind of phone you Use and you say Xiaomi (most people do not know jack about it).
I just want we using this device regardless the model to meet here and share tips on how to get the best out of it eg. Rooting, unlocking, flashing, Upgrading, etc.

Xiaomi 15 has better battery performance than those devices. Same with its predecessor Xiaomi 14. Go and check the reviews.

I emphasized on that. I wonder why you are ommiting it.

I use Poco F6 and trust me the battery optimisation is beneath the mi series.
