Truth is, commodities like rice have a way of rubbishing economic theories especially in Nigeria.

What I mean is crashing the price is the main
aim..
.but the advantage rice has is ....its commodity that can be kept for a while without bcoming stale till the whole noise settles...and because its mostly what Nigerians eat...it's scarcity will eventually make it more expensive because there's no real alternative
