My parents have a 6 months visit visa and travelling via air France to UK. Can anyone please help clarify as I was getting conflicting information about transit visa. Do Nigerians require it? Has anyone used them recently from Abuja to UK. If so how easy is it to get the airport transit visa. Any tips please? Many thanks.

They need Schenghen transit visa or UK BRP to use air France/KLM.
If above not available, then they need USA, Canada, Japan or Schenghen visas or resident permits.
Schenghen transit visa is as per filling visa application forms, booking appointment, going for appointments, submitting required documents and then waiting for outcome.

Just got a VFS collection email for a biometrics done on April 24. You should get a decision update before Friday.

No point going to vfs when you've not been sent a collection mail. Your best bet is to send a paid email or patiently wait for collection mail. Add prayer to your waiting to. All things are possible. All the best

I want to depart Nigeria on the 26th because I will be using a connecting flight by Qatar airways which arrives Gatwick on the 27th but my entry date is 27th to the UK.

I want to know if I would have any issues boarding on that 26th?

Greetings everyone, I'm applying for a 7 day visit visa. I earn 500k monthly and monthly expenses is 50k as my husband fully supports the household expenses.

My question is with the high price of flight tickets can I still be within 2 months salary budget that's 900k for my 7 days trip.

Hostel £105
A week Bus pass £25
Feeding for a week 90

That's £220 excluding flight ticket.

Please everyone advise how I can stay within 2 month budgets.

If your Husband sponsors the trip, it might work.

However, your monthly salary is low and that might be an issue.

Mrs B is visiting UK. Her husband is sponsoring the trip while a friend of Mrs B will host her when she arrives.

What should be the right title for invite from Mrs B friend? Invitation from host or sponsor?

I want to use host. Just asking to be sure.

Please am applying for my mum and I intend using one month bank statement. It has a balance of £3203. There are period during the one month that the balance in statement was £250. Can I use the statement with the fluctuations in the balance and the fact it is a one month statement?
