This current U20 team needs a total overhaul.

Daniel Aiyenugba , the son of Nigerian legendary GK, Dele Aiyenugba deserves a spot in the goal keeping department. I have seen him up close . Dude is prolific and also a good penalty stopper.
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by lelion: 6:27pm On May 15, 2025
The whole team not only the attack.
Nigérians and the Nff, should please forgive Siasia and bring him back.
Truth be told, since the era of Siaone U20, no coach have succeeded in giving us a good, entertaining, energetic and skillful and total -football U20.
Again, coaches should avoid the temptation of fédéral character and tribalism in our football.
Since 1990, when l started following our football teams at various levels, all the successful teams have being populated by players from certain régions. It might be a coïncidence, luck or maybe they have winning mentality, and a winning formula or omen should be maintained..

As backup you mean. Coz Harcourt is tops. It is the second GK, Yakub that just came in and delivered an "Uzoho" performance.

I hope that match was not a harbinger of what's to come in the WC qualifiers.

These players should stop losing to SA or Ghana.

Even the coach looks lost claiuless
Just hand over the team to siasia
Let see as flair at the u20 world cup
We need an attacking team

This coach is defense minded imagine playing 4-3-3

NFF should engage coach Samson Siasia.
He will do better that the current U20 coach.

Everybody knows how coach Sia1 U20 team plays.

The team was just unlucky today. The defeat is only painful because of those noisy amazulus. Even the ref awarded most of the 50-50 calls to SA.

To be honest, I am happy with the team's showing overall at this tournament. We will surely get better at the WC with some quality additions and necessary substractions.

I recall the Amuneke U17 team of 2015 didnt conquer the continent but did enough to fnish top 4. When they got to the Worlds... they were better.

Seconded infact let him be given a 10 years contract to handle both u-20 and u-23 teams if possible (he will give us star players in eagles set up )

Again and again the commentator said SA were 2nd best in the game. There are things to polish but it was a fair game. I enjoyed Ayuma's work

Seems you don’t know the meaning of unlucky

Barca was unlucky again inter

Nigeria has been riding on luck since our second match there’s time where we could have lost woefully but luck has played big part today it showed and there was no magic to bail us out.

Exactly. A win against the run of play. It is fine. We move.

Vs Senegal, we were the better side.

Vs SA, we were also better.

So yes, we were unlucky today.

Simple...

If he goes to Saudi today, I'm damn fulfilled. Make English clubs go eff themselves.

He's shown that he's not a small or an average player. Many people saw him go to the Turkish Süper Lig and even thought or wished he won't perform 😂

24 years record - The highest scoring foreigner in a single season (all comps.) in the history of the Turkish Süper Lig (not even for Galatasaray alone)... Kokmekn been dey save some drafts...

Osimhen doesn't just break records, he extends them and raise the bar higher to make you sweat to break it! Ask all the U-17 players wey don dey try even equal him record since 2015. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👑
The only fulfillment Osimhen' can give to is to break the Yekini 37goals. That record is an embarrassment to Nigeria when you see other African teams getting close to 100goals as a record.

Na dt number 9ine make us lose

Playing wrong final passes …dis happened twice in d first half dt could have given us a comfortable 2-nil lead …although he’s a 9ine but he shld improve on his final pass.

Which ones are getting close to 100 sad

Godfrey Chitalu holds the highest at 79 in 111 games
Kinan Phiri at 71 in 117 games
Hossam Hassan at 69 in 177 games!

Drogba, Eto'o & Gyan have 65, 56, 51goals in 105, 118, 109 games
Just look at the number of games!

Mane is 45 goals in 113 games. Just 8 goals above Yekini with about 50 games more!

Yekini had only 62 games! You don't know what embarrassment is

for real sia sia has eyes for talents especially age grade competitions.
u2 2005 WC final
beijing 2008 olympics final
Rio 2016 Olympic tournament.
Siasia would have matured into a “Keshi” status if not for the setback he faced
