What happens after we die...?

The idea of an afterlife was created because people fear death and it was a way to control.

We are our brains and our bodies. When our brain dies, we die. That's all we are. Brains.

If you pay attention to true Christians it's the same thing we will tell you.

For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing at all, nor do they have any more reward, because all memory of them is forgotten. Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they no longer have any share in what is done under the sun. Ecclesiastes 9:5-6

Are the dead going somewhere?
The Bible says humans and animals ends exactly the same way:

For there is an outcome for humans and an outcome for animals; they all have the same outcome. As the one dies, so the other dies; and they all have but one spirit. So man has no superiority over animals, for everything is futile. All are going to the same place. They all come from the dust, and they all are returning to the dust. Ecclesiastes 3:19-20

We are not superior to animals at death all of us expire and go nowhere.

So what is the hope humans have that animals don't?

And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous. Act 24:15

Dead humans will be brought back to life again! Daniel 12:2

But that anyone is going anywhere at death it's a lie!

The Cycle of Being
Before birth, there was nothing—no thought, no feeling, no self.
Just silence.
No memory of existence, no reason to care.

Then life begins.
Awareness sparks.
We learn, we feel, we chase dreams, we suffer, we grow.
We live.

But as time passes, we return to simplicity—
Like children again.
Fading gently, losing grip on the world we once held tight.

And then—
We go.
No lights, no tunnels, no promises.
Just like before we came.
Like a computer shutting down.
Quiet. Final.

So while you’re here—live.
Create.
Love.
Move.
Speak your truth.
Because this moment is all we really have.
