People who studied agric related courses are posted to poultry and other allied industries.

Wrong mindset and she will definitely have wrong attitude towards the job thereby blinding her to any opportunity that may exist there.

I don't know how Civil Engineering and classroom teaching is related. Very useless scheme if you ask me.

Stop being myopic it's an opportunity for you to impart young students with your knowledge in Mathematics, and Physics.

This might just be a blessing for her in disguise.

Hypocrites! If your allawee was 500k you won't complain. For the records NYSC is not an internship but service to the nation and you have an option for exemption.

People study Yoruba language and apply for job in Banks.

If the Bakery was a global company, won't they have a department of Coporate affairs that deals with other institutions outside the company.

I studied Estate mgt and and was sent to teach in a govt technical college in Yobe State in 2010. I applied my skills in AutoCad and Excel and the students had a 100% pass rate in their external exams!

This is why we do alot of unrelated courses in school to prepare you for the future and also why self development is crucial.

Education goes beyond the classroom.

I discovered my passion for IT during my NYSC days and today I hold a M.sc in Multimedia programming and work for a reputable Energy Company in Europe.

In summary NYSC is for social integration and service to the nation.

When life gives you lemon, make a lemonade out of it.
