I see people here complaining about their bet addiction but I can tell you for free that's child's play compared to my fruitless journey in music. I just wonder why I have so much passion, love and energy for something that will never work for me in a million years. And it's been like that since I was 5. I just wondered why God didn't kill this passion inside me. I am going to be 31 on my next birthday and am here in my parents house after wasting millions of naira on my failed career. I could have had a decent life with my own wife and probably a kid or 2 but here I am in debts because of another failed music venture. To add insult to injury, everybody here hates me more than anything probably because have disturbed their Earlobes with the horrible things I sing that I call music. As much as I will like to read people's comment here, I doubt I will be emotionally capable because am afraid I will still be insulted due to hatred people have for me here. My prayers for everyone is may you never be in love and passionate about anything or anyone that won't work out with you or for you. Amen! 6 Likes |

Iamdbull:Hello What you have is not a curse... It is a gift that many wish to have. Now, that you are talented in something and have passion in it does not necessarily mean you have to make a livelihood out of it. There are so many talented people that can sing or even play football. But, if they had kept pushing to make a living out of it, time would pass them by. It is never too late to start again... please, seek another venture for survival while still enjoying your passion of singing for now to yourself and those around you that care about it. 4 Likes |

There's passion of music, and there's business if music. Music is a multi-faceted something..... You could have a good voice, but your lyrics suck, or you have great lyrical skills, but your voice sucks..... .... this us where tou HUMBLY identify your strengths and weakness, then find a way to fix it, either by collaborating with people who excel at where you fall short, or you push someone else. Apart from heavy promotion, when you hear good music, what are the elements that makes you want to play it on repeat? Integrate those elements into your own music. Your beat can make or mar any song - very common in Nigeria, where the beat makers are the unsung heroes, because most singers just string bunch of garbage together and call it hit... Rawbish.... So unless you have enough money to promote rubbish, then you have to invest in beats and songwriters. Peace. |

Passion without talent is dead... Even if you have the money to push you through. By the way you may be passionate about the things that comes with the music - super star fame, money, Fabolous, lifestyle of musicians etc and not really about the music. So the music is just a vehicle to achieve these and not the music itself. Because I know think one can really be passionate about something they completely aren't good in. Iamdbull:If you think your passion is from God, stop singing for the devil. Consecrate your life unto God and start using the passion to please the one who gave you. Focus on pleasing God and not the money and the fame. Then you will be fulfilled and be blessed. Cheers |

Bros as you can see in this generation you don’t need talent or people to like you to make it in your field. Look at portable, see speed darlington, etc. Even if you can’t sing well, upload that music and be a “nuisance” if you have to. Nobody will hate you if they know you are just clowning. Unless you are a true nuisance that that becomes a problem |
