I remember designing clothes using paper cuttings with my next door Chinese neighbours, the aroma from the noodle soup made by their mum could resurrect anything, back then in Barnawa GRA. I built tree house's with my siblings in the mango trees and swung from branches until I fell one day and broke my left arm. It was in a cast for weeks and that cast got signed by almost everyone of those kids in my class and command children school, dantunku rd. I remember the taste of honey dripping alkaki from central market, and freshly baked bread from UTC stores. I especially liked the jam donuts from leventis stores, and the Arabian delights from Arabian sweets, KD old heads will remember. I went with my dad to th trade fair and , just holding his hands , the big man took me everywhere, I tasted rice crisps for the first time . I learnt how to play lawn tennis at NBL senior staff qtrs , and swimming at hamdala hotel pool , with my friends. I had a lot of friends, from all over the world. KD was no different than London or new York back then. it was so cool growing up, I miss my childhood years , I would give anything to go back even for a day .

Was in a rush to grow up not knowing it was all a trap...

As a kid you get Alot of empathy den even if your parent are not Rich outsiders will also give u free empathy not now you're on your own nobody send you...

If parents financial capacity is not a major yardstick, I will say I enjoyed my childhood to the fullest. 10/10. May God bless my parents and my Guardians.

The good old days can never be compared to as it is now.......Tech that birthed the use of social media really has brought a whole lot of distraction mehn.......I guess everything has got its own advantage and disadvantages sha.....

How lovely and lively was the good old days!...
