Now you're exaggerating! Not all animals will eat any flesh! A cow, sheep, and chicken won't eat a dead animal. If there's a drought they will just die! Many animals can only eat plants because their body isn't designed to break down flesh and they won't get any nutrition from it.

There's no need for all that. A simple Google search has corrected me. You learn something new everyday. Although they prefer plants if pushed to survive they'll eat rodents and birds. They don't eat their own carcass though but they eat meat in the form of bugs, birds, rodents etc.

Form the word Halal, I asume that you are muslim. The gambian pouched rats eat things like kola, maize, cassava, yam... They are known to destroy farm produce. For those that stay close to homes, they are known to eat both plants and animals. They often steal eggs from poultry farms and can steal dry fish and stuffs.
