In a twinkling of an eye, the family was reduced to nothing and can never become normal again.

1. The younger brother is dead and lost forever.
2. The elder brother and his son will remain in prison custody for a very long time with little or no chance of fixing their lives again.
3. Their house was burnt down by angry people in the community.
4. The wife's shop was also destroyed by fire:, meaning: her source of livelihood has been crippled.
5. The other children becomes truants and vagabonds, waiting instrument in the hands of the societal demons.

It's always convenient to not blame the dead in this situation. Slapping your elder brother's wife for any reason at all is wrong and suicidal it's like killing your brother too. It can cost you your life as we have seen.

The only person who lost his life in this matter his the dead brother the others gave up their life for 2k, for honour, for loyalty. The elder brother might not have intended to kill the younger brother but ogun and sango no send your papa grin

Always be slow to anger!! Some days back, I was called to where my mom and sisters were, I met my Mom's kid bro shouting and pointing finger at her. Everyone was expecting me to come beat him up, but I just pulled him away and calmed him down. Turns out it was all because of money. Surprisingly the next morning he came asking for his sister and they were discussing as if nothing happened.. Always be slow to anger.
