Umahi, you so much love sectioning of road projects. It's becoming annoying. What kind of management style is this. 15km for commissioning out off a 188 km road!. 15km is just like from Zuba to Gwarimpa. For Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway of about 700km, you announced that 20 km will be ready this May for commissioning. That is less 5% of the project.

Not sure if that road will be completed by December, the lane they're working on has not been completed, they've not started the other lane, also the three flyover are still at it's early stage, so i doubt if it'll be completed, but they're really doing a great job.

What about the other sections like Ogoni to Akwaibom?
Ughelli to Patani. Ahoada to Mbiama. These were all fixed but due to soil type, raining seasons and flooding, the roads goes bad.

2 years to complete a 15km road ? una never serious about development! The Alaskan highway (ALCAN) here in America is 2300 km long ...it was completed in 9 Months! The black man;s power only ends in the bedroom and tribalism! very slow people!

It is a big shame that Jonathan the son of the land couldn't fix the road under his tenure. Tinubu will win south south hands down. Most of us in south south don't play emotional and bitter politics. We will support him. Make obi go and rest.

As a reminder, it took 10 lives and over 100 vehicles burnt beyond recognition for this administration to take a break from the phantom coastal road and devote funds to this road.

This is despite this administration being made aware of the bad condition of this existing road that currently services the role of the coastal road.

I hope the departed will be rewarded for their sacrifices to have a road properly done.

The fact that you don't know that the irad was once motorable as east west road but for bad because of terrain makes your claim of south south indigene questionable or you be those one wey never do ineretate travel for their entire life

The way the road is built, it will last for at least 50 years. Go and see the road by yourself, it's constructed with concrete and, the concrete is very thick. The road level is also raised above flood level, the drainages are massive too.

Am not disputing about the build. Rivers, especially Eleme area has salt rain and those nonsense slots from oil production. Two seasons it will go bad. Build concrete road in the North, it will last. The ones he built in Ebonyi state are giving way already (concrete road).

The concrete road you're talking about in Ebonyi, is the concrete road standard up to the oshodi papa or Lagos Calabar highway standard, then it will last beyond 50 years.

The Oshodi Apapa expressway is still standing solid.

A large portion of Calabar itu has been constructed using concrete esp the cross river section. I don't know why work is slow on the Akwa ibom section
