[A cult, is when they start moving the goalposts on failed prophecies.

Didn't usher in an era of world peace? "No, but he will in the second coming"

Didn't rebuild the temple? "He is the temple"

Didn't come back soon? "To God, a day is as 1000 years"

Etc., etc.]

Israelites or Jews as a nation have never believe in any prophet only few among them do use discernment when a prophet of God is in their midst.

So if that nation rejected Jesus Christ of Nazareth let it be known that God only expects the faithful among them not all or majority! smiley

THE JEWS ARE ABRAM AND NOT ABRAHAM.
Re: *************************** by MindHacker9009(op):
Jews are not meant to believe in their prophets, instead they are to obey the laws God gave them through Moses, which is their nation's constitution.

Do none Jews saying they are following Jesus believe in Jesus Christ?
Jesus said greater works than his will you do if you believe, what greater works have you done than to be disturbing people knocking on people's doors, which Jesus did not do.
Jesus said those that believe will lay hands on the sick and they will recover, you that believe how many sick people have you laid hands on that have recovered?
Jesus said those that believe will pick up serpents and it will not harm them, you that believe can you pick up serpents?

Who is Moses?
Re: *************************** by MaxInDHouse(m): 10:58am On May 25, 2025
Well Moses is prophet of God though in his time many Israelites rejected what God said through him and they perished in the wilderness but even the law you are advocating for today is part of what God gave through Moses so only those who believe Moses in his time welcome the laws thousands disagreed and died in the process.

So during the time Moses walked the earth majority of Israelites never agreed the laws he brought as something he got from God.

That has been the attitude of Israelites from time immemorial.

As for Jesus no human can perform 1% of his miracles not to talk of performing greater miracles than Jesus.

So what he meant is preaching, teaching and baptizing more people than Jesus!

This is what John one of the apostles of Jesus said about the miracles Jesus performed during his ministry:

There are also, in fact, many other things that Jesus did, which if ever they were written in full detail, I suppose the world itself could not contain the scrolls written. John 21:25

Do you still think he meant the miracles when Jesus said "WORKS" ?

Christian quote passages that are not even messianic and pass it off as talking about j-man. They take text out of context, when you put it back and read it to them, they cry foul.

Maxindhouse always pulls out the Isaiah 9:6 and 7:14 as if they are even prophecies. When I put it back and show him, he runs away.

There is no jman in the entire Tanakh. He is an invention of the Roman empire. There is nothing anybody can tell me to make me change my mind....or they bring a proper witness of those things they wrote in the gospels stories.

Why did John miss the transfiguration?

Why do you love lying?
You are the one who always run away each time i ask you to present the group that is practicing what you believe so we can compare with the organization that is putting faith in Jesus.

God's word says:

In the final part of the days, The mountain of the house of Jehovah Will become firmly established above the top of the mountains, And it will be raised up above the hills, And to it all the nations will stream. And many peoples will go and say: “Come, let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, To the house of the God of Jacob. He will instruct us about his ways, And we will walk in his paths.” For law will go out of Zion, And the word of Jehovah out of Jerusalem. He will render judgment among the nations And set matters straight respecting many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares And their spears into pruning shears. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, Nor will they learn war anymore! Isaiah 2:2-4

Jehovah's Witnesses (true Christians) are globally fulfilling this prophecy today and that's a sign they are doing the right thing but you just keep on arguing and insulting anyone who disagrees with you no organized people are practicing what you are advocating to show that God is not backing what you are saying yet do you say i run away? smiley

what greater works have you done.
We have gathered millions of people in all lands and we have erased hatred and using of weapons from their hearts {Isaiah 2:2-4} this is what makes Jesus the Prince of Peace but until the day he died even his closest confidants were still anticipating using weapons against their neighbors despite his teachings! Matthew 26:51

So JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES have done greater works than what Jesus did back in the first century by using what Jesus taught to convince them that LOVE is the greatest commandment! Mark 12:30-31 smiley
Re: *************************** by MindHacker9009(op):
Jesus was not against wars, but to follow this advice first:
Luke 14:31–32 (NIV):
“Or suppose a king is about to go to war against another king. Won’t he first sit down and consider whether he is able with ten thousand men to oppose the one coming against him with twenty thousand?
If he is not able, he will send a delegation while the other is still a long way off and will ask for terms of peace."

Jesus did not say in my name you should go and stop wars, that's the mission of the Real Jewish Messiah when He comes.

This is what Jesus commanded his believers to do:
Mark 16:17-18
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

There a devils in your organisation but you cannot cast them out, instead it's the good people you cast out.

How about this:
Matthew 10:34-36
Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; and one’s foes will be members of one’s own household.

If that verse was added as you have said, then how can we trust any other verse in the New Testament?

Here Jesus is talking about hatred from families and close relatives that makes many unbelievers wish that his disciples are killed for their refusal to follow pagan traditions.
This happened to me when i started the Bible study with Jehovah's Witnesses and began putting what i have learned to practice despite knowing how vicious i was as a soldier but because i have now become so harmless and peaceful even the ones who fear to talk before me now feels like slapping me on the face.

Ọmọ that's what Jesus is talking about not someone from one country carrying weapons to go and kill another because one man called president or commander in the army asked them to do so! smiley

The word "SWORD" here refers to the complete Bible God's word! Ephesians 6:17

That's why you can't figure out a place in the New Testament where Christians use swords against their enemies was it not that same night that Jesus reproved Peter for using a sword? Matthew 26:52

So my friend Jesus spoke in idioms the sword he meant there is the word that's protruding out of God's mouth {Revelations 19:15} it's the sharpest weapon that can reach the figurative heart of any honest hearted individual! Hebrews 4:12 compare to Revelations 1:16

Peter lied three times that he did not know Jesus the son of god and god the father of Jesus did not kill Peter. But because Ananias and Sapphira lied about the money they sold their own land for, that was more important to your god to kill them.

Galatians 2:11- 13 Referring to Peter as a hypocrite
11Now when [d]Peter had come to Antioch, I [e]withstood him to his face, because he was to be blamed; 12for before certain men came from James, he would eat with the Gentiles; but when they came, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing [f]those who were of the circumcision. 13And the rest of the Jews also played the hypocrite with him, so that even Barnabas was carried away with their hypocrisy.

No Peter and his men were the ones that killed Ananias and Sapphira.

https://jewsforjudaism.org/knowledge/videos/six-reasons-why-jews-don-t-believe-in-jesus

The Messiah will reign as King at a time when all the Jewish people will observe G-d’s commandments (Ezekiel 37:24; Deut. 30:8,10; Jeremiah 31:32; Ezekiel 11:19-20, 36:26-27).

Jesus never ruled as King, nor have all Jews embraced the commandments of G-d’s Torah.

Reason #6 – Universal Knowledge of G-d – Jesus clearly failed here also.

The Messiah will rule at a time when all the people of the world will come to acknowledge and serve the one true G-d (Zechariah 3:9, 8:23,14:9,16; Isaiah 45:23, 66:23; Jeremiah 31:33; Ezekiel 38:23; Psalm 86:9; Zeph. 3:9).

This, as well, has not yet taken place and we await its fulfillment.

No matter how many unusual & miraculous things Jesus seems to accomplish in the New Testament, he doesn't fulfill even one of the 6 criteria by which the Nation of Israel can recognize him as the true Jewish Messiah.
Did I miss something here. The topic says SIX reasons why Jews don't believe in Jesus. Yet all I see is one reason (Reason #6). Where is Reason #1 to #5?
