No has not proven himself as a " world class outstanding player"

Players like Lewandoski, Mbappe, Haaland, Kane, Salah, etc have proven themselves consistently and continuously over several seasons.

VO was not the outstanding player, above average yes in Belgium,France and had one break out season in Seria A prior to that above average.

Now he is in the retirement league which if he stays too long will reduce his world rating .

The response from too clubs confirms the general perception very good player but not many clubs willing to meet his wage demands.
Pls define " world class outstanding player"

So scoring 13 in an half season in France
Then scoring 10 in his first season in italy
Then 14 in the next season
26 in the 3rd season
And 15 in a season he played Afcon isn't consistent enough?

Relegation does not mean poor coach. Ask Vincent Kompany. Finito.
We can't be changing our stance for our favoured person, Kolewerk.

Only in Naija is a coach bad even when he gets results, and a coach good even when he doesn't produce results. No wonder we end up with scrap National team coaches. Everything is not about tiki taka.

Ex-Russian defender, Vladimir Granat has expressed disappointment and regret over the absence of several key Super Eagles players, especially Victor Osimhen ahead of the friendly between Nigeria and Russia.

He said the coach has denied their squad of facing and testing themselves against a world-class team.

I made the same point about Kompany when he got relegated. Look at this post on April 2024.

Congratulations to Maresca. I hope his is prepared for the EPL. It is such a tough ground.

As for Vincent Kompany and Xavi, I still have full faith in these guys and I hope they bounce back strong.

cc: TheSuperNerd, we nailed this one.

MAY TIKI TAKA LIVE FOREVER.
Getting relegated does not mean the coaching approach is wrong. Sometimes, it takes longer to SOAK IN.

Have a long term strategy and things will look better. Fire brigade approach can deceive in the long run.

.it's not about changing stances, if El-kenemi had draw, we will not be talking about stances,

Why 24mins added time, why suddenly ending the match after a goal was scored,

If the managements of NPFL mean well, they will investigate that match and others like that too

If Napoli offers to sign lookman, he should accept because it’s better to sign for Napoli than to transfer abroad and sign for a lower Epl team like Newcastle, fulham

It was just unfortunate. They played good football for the most part but this relegation doesnt mean he is bad. It means the ruins he met Heartland in needs more than one season to really address. He tried his best.

Kompany won promotion with Burnley the season before their relegation with 100 points, will Amuneke stay at Heartland to achieve similar feat?

Agreed they played good football based on the little highlights I saw. Sadly however, his best didn't seem to be good enough.

Don't mind them. Even with AFCON, he scored the 15 goals from 25 matches played, is that not fair enough? They can worship their foreign strikers but they are always attacking Osimhen. Rashford earns almost $21M annually, yet he has never scored 18 league goals in a single season throughout his 11 years career in top flight football. Osimhen scored 26, they called him one season wonder..shmmm.
He should move to Saudi and earn big

Instead he should move to Forrest, emotional cry babies 🤣🤣

Lookman likely to join juve or Napoli this summer
