Good afternoon everyone, just like the topic says there are majorly two things no man can hide no matter how smart he is and how codes he is.

The first thing is POVERTY

No matter how good at management a man is, he can never hide poverty because with time it will rear it's ugly heads and become very obvious.

Any man going through financial difficulty, no matter how well he wants to hide it some things will start becoming visible. You don't need a soothsayer to tell you a man is going through hell if he carries bushy hair, faded clothes, worn out slippers.

You can just sit down at a junction and pretend as if you are making calls then mere looking at some people you know they are going through a lot.

That brings us to the saying that poverty is very hard to maintain

The second one is WEALTH

No matter how well you can hide things, wealth or affluence will show. I didn't give examples when I talked about POVERTY because I don't want to sound inhumane but let me give you a typical example of my friend who once tried to hide wealth.

He served in the north and got retained by a rich northerner who deals with trailer, he was treated well and after like 5 years the man died and our friend was well settled so he relocated to south west.

We normally call him coded due to his lifestyle of trying to hide everything, when he came he established block industry, boutique and poultry but he will still wear cheap clothes.

What gave him out was his fresh looks, nice perfumes and wristwatch always looking cool. He hid it to d extent that even his farm manager had a car already but the CEO is hoping around on bike.

Last last this guy had to buy Toyota big daddy because even the poorest in his clique was using something better, last last we all saw his house and it was one in town, he couldn't just hide it.

So it's obvious you can't hide those two things

POVERTY and WEALTH

I am not even talking about lousy spending but what they wear or do, there was a guy who appeared ordinary when we were in school, I didn't notice him till we got to 300 level and what made me notice him was that me n my guys argued about original airmax footwear in 2012 when we were in d hostel n coincidentally this guy wore the same original we saw online the following week, he didn't even know us n we don't know him but me n my guys saw it, codedly snapped it n confirmed it online.

As if that wasn't enough, I started observing the guy n I saw original man utd jersey on him, nice wristwatches, original Ray-Ban shade n at that point I was forced to make enquiries about d guy

I realize him papa na big custom boss n na only him remain for Nigeria among his siblings.

These guy didn't even bother to serve before he japa, e no dey loud but if u observe am well u go know say e no dey wear anyhow cloth

Bro, I am also talking from experience. I grew up with the socialites in my town as most of them are dad's friends. Not until they tell you who they are, you can never judge them by their appearance.

I also personally know a guy back then, he was like an area brother. He was into yahoo then. This guy get money like mtf but if you met him outside, you can give him a dirty slap. If this guy is returning from Ghana then, bullion van normally come to pick him up at the airport as his sister is working in one of the Nigeria bank. The guy was fuckingly rich. I know him personally

Very very humble , but when they do party, the class of pple that attend speaks volumes who the host is , for example .

It could be that the caliber of visitors that come to visit them at home are from the richest affluent !!

Whilst I don't disagree with your opinion that "POVERTY can never be hidden". You see wealth? It can really be hidden.

One of my maternal uncles (who mentored me) was stupendously rich but only a few of his family members knew.

He doesn't dress flamboyantly, neither does he behave in any way that suggests he's rich. But guess what? Uncle is swimming in money. His favourite words were; "Obe o kin mi nikun agba".

The day he showed me some of his investments, I almost fainted. I learnt a lot from him on how to live a peaceful life. Sometimes when I do some things, my mum would say I should stop behaving like my mentor (her brother).
