That is Kunle Afolayan's problem. Not mine.

Something i picked recently or that i think is important about children and discipline. I understand that children are different, and they respond differently, some have peculiar challenges, and it will take efforts on several fronts to help raise a child so they can be healthy adults.

A combination of the old and newer approach may help, the old approach of keeping the child busy and repsonsible for tasks and the new approach of knowing that child and relating with that knowing. And lastly, we pray and hope for the best, may not even work, but if it doesnt not work, we still love them,

Maybe he didn't. But I wouldn't know why you didn't make any reference to parents with well-behaved kids. You love to project that much? Do it with your family then.🙌

I have noticed there is a whoring stage that many young girls in Nigeria get to and they suddenly become uncontrollable. Then after that stage (2-3yrs later) their brain now reset back to normal. Even children of Clerics are not left out.

My daughter is still in primary school, I hope I will be patient to cross the bridge when she gets to that stage.

My dear just pray for your unborn kids. I used to blame the parents of wayward kids until we got this problem. We cater for more than 6 children, some are already in the university but you see this particular one? We don't know where we went wrong with her

Some people even accused us of treating her differently but before God and man, we never maltreated any of them

We don't know where it came from Anywhere we move e, she finds a way of finding her kind.

And this child in issue is just 14 yrs old, not even an adult

We are trying hard not to give up on her because she's an only child, we brought her to the house at one Month old because her mother died giving birth to her and we actually feel sorry for the mom, hence we are doing our best. We don't even know how to give up on her.

We just pray the rehabilitation center will transform her. She's just 14 yrs old.

Saw this video, where Police came to arrest this teenager and his mom was like, 'is this what you want for yourself? After everything I have gone through for you, is this really the lifestyle you want for yourself?' then she went inside her house. Even the oyibo police that came to arrest the boy, you need to see the emotional disappointment on his face.

Omooorrrr na there I know say to raise kids no easy. You fit do every humanly possible for them and they will still choose to disgrace you.

Well said OP. Most of the time parents are the cause. How do you cage and raise an obedient cool headed child that helps run every chores in and out the house but seizes the child's freedom to indulge in anything else that is not school yet you have no money to sponsor such a child to university. And you send that child out of the house with no fees or shelter whatsoever when he got admission and expect such child to excel.
It's just betrayal. They take away your freedom and chances , then send you out when you're grown.
That's why most orphans or children without relatives succeed early than these ones with guidance. Freedom is key

It's better to make mistakes at a very early age, then make corrections while it's still early than just living to please clueless parents. E go choke you as an adult

Observe! The most successful and standout ones in the society are the rebellious ones that went after what they wanted at an early age. They were stubborn, called all sorts of names but they never relent. Today na dem dey front for whatever thing they wanted, they're leaders in their different spheres of life

I was just a black sheep with some white spots because I was obedient. Na me dey suffer pass today. I should have been completely black and Chase my goals. I regret being obedient, i regret listening
