Before adopting a fashion alien to your culture try and understand what it signifies, although wearing an anklet in other cultures has nothing to do with promiscuity however you can be assured that whatever enters the Nigerian space would automatically get corrupted so I believe the man of God on this one, if you doubt him go around and do your own data-gathering.

If wearing a leg chain is done with modest intent and personal expression, many would argue it’s morally neutral.

However, if it’s worn with the intent to provoke or send sexual signals (as believed in some cultures), some may question its moral implications

If you ask me, I don't agree with Pastor Ibiyomie. Wearing an anklet like you said maybe foreign but it's hard to tell cos in africa, wearing of anklet too is prevalent, even more so in Nigeria. It doesnt have to be silver or gold. It be cowries and shekels that makes noise. One would need to present an historical evidence to this. However, because a particular trend became fashionable is not and should not be standard to judge a person. Just you can't say every one who is on dread locks or weird hairstyle is a yahoo boy, you can't say any lady wearing anklets is a prostitute. There are ladies not on anklets and are promiscuous as they can be.

As a Christian, the word of God for me is clear on this. Things like this doesn't make anyone a Sinner. It's one's thoughts and actions that tells who you are and that's why the Bible instructs us to guard our heart with all diligence for out of it, we will know those that are prostitutes, yahoo boys, or sinners in general and not be anklets
