Majority don't do all these, Most just write about anything that comes to their mind(throwing mud against the wall)

And they wonder why they don't succeed.

Ok now you know the seed keywords that people are searching and trending.

Let move forward

What you want to do is find Low competitive keyword.

Go get sem$rush subscription. If you've chippass cash dollars account you can get a trial for 7days to use it for free.

To find low competitive keyword on sem@rush.

Go to keyword magic tools

Type your seed keywords leave country to United States

Click on search it'll give you many results.

Go to keyword difficulty (KD)
Type between 1-5 click ok

You'll see keywords that are easy to rank some may have low volume.

Repeat for 6-10 11-15 and so on.

Many people will protest aah senior man I no fit write blog post wey get only 50 search ooo.

See that keyword get 1k 2k search volume make I write that one abeg na.

It's the beginning of failure.

First the keyword tools don't have correct search volumes no tools has.

All give estimate if you rely on it you'll be doing a disservice to yourself.

Also if you rank for that 1k or 4k keyword as a small blog.

What will happen if a blog that's bigger than you:

(have more link and authority on the topic discover the keyword and write about it) your traffic is gone.

But these low competition keyword most big blogs don't want to write about it…it's your secret ingredients to get traffic quick and easily.


Let me Repeat as a new blogger.


You main focus should be on low competition keyword because you're a new blog Google does not even know you.

Before we use to use reddit and filter for the keyword.

This is hard nowadays since Google bought Reddit.

All Reddit thread start to outrank niche site since Google owns Reddit.

But quora you can do it with quora.

Quora also has another disadvantage using a paywall.

So if your article stand side by side with quora people will look at quora but more likely to stay more on your page.

Go to semrush overview.

Type the name of the forums.

Go to organic keyword.

Filter to position 1

It'll show you all the keyword the forum is ranking for page one.

Export everything to your Excel sheet.

Find as many forum on your niche and repeat.

Here's why this is a proven way to rank on page one.

Forums don't have good on page SEO.

Their keyword density most times is under optimized.

They don't have diversity of factors

If you know your on-page SEO you can easily outrank these forums.

That one even if you don't know how to write you will be in the top 20 for that keyword.

If you've not done any of these and have design a site you're putting the cart before the horse.

You need to do keyword research before designing anything.

Go to keyword magic tools

Type your seed keywords leave country to United States

Click on search it'll give you many results.

Go to keyword difficulty (KD)
Type between 1-5 click ok

You'll see keywords that are easy to rank some may have low volume.

Repeat for 6-10 11-15 and so on.

Yes one at a time although Google trend allow five keywords to compare each.

I've social media profile for two of my website one is a course selling website.

The other Is a site that I really know about so I created a new profile for it because of eeat.
