🇳🇬 | Chibuike Nwaiwu in Anderlecht's sights!

The Brussels club has explored the terms of a deal for the 21-year-old Nigerian defender (Wolfsberger AC), but the operation appears too costly for this summer...

My opinion is he is an outstanding top level striker but world class that's open for debate. He has only scored above 20 league goals in a top flight league once in his career.

I compared him to players who have done that consistently over several seasons in top level leagues that makes them World class.
Wee yu keep kwayet??

Did Hojlund outscore Osimhen in all of his season at Serie A before securing a move to UTD?

Oga, Osimhen is a world class striker ... Your opinion of him won't change the reality on ground...he has all the accolades to back it up...

Premier league clubs not willing to pay his wage demands doesn't take away his quality.... Football doesn't start or end in England...
A world 🌍 class striker is playing and making waves in the Turkish retirement league, are you satisfied with that 🤔

He needs to leave that league and compete with the best of the best and EXCELL consistently and continuously in a top league to be called world class.

What's the reality on the ground ❓ Premier league just talk nobody yet so far ( there is still time) Seria A and La Liga are not saying much, however there is still time.

Football is a short term career , there is no time to waist. However, if it's money 🤑 he wants alone then he should go to Saudi.

But you earlier said playing in a world class league doesn't make a player world class.
Does that means Rashford is only playing in a world class league but he isn't world class? But if you states otherwise, does Rashford stats makes him a world class player?
The chokehold wey you pin this guy no be small.

But him no go respond sha, e sure me die.

What exactly is your point a comparison or just irrelevant ranting.

Rasmus Højlund is a good striker but not exceptional, how much did United pay for him ❓ He earns less than 33% of what VO earns in a week.

🤔

No has not proven himself as a " world class outstanding player"

Players like Lewandoski, Mbappe, Haaland, Kane, Salah, etc have proven themselves consistently and continuously over several seasons.

VO was not the outstanding player, above average yes in Belgium,France and had one break out season in Seria A prior to that above average.

Now he is in the retirement league which if he stays too long will reduce his world rating .

The response from too clubs confirms the general perception very good player but not many clubs willing to meet his wage demands.
For how long will u continue to be in captivity of your own negativity?

Heartland bought Beyond Limit place to remain in NPFL, employed top rated Amunike to turn the team around but failed woefully. If NPFL league debutant like Ikorodu fc can slugged it out with big teams with their average coach and players,no excuses for Amunike.

He failed and should prepare for next season and better to get a club that will suit his CV
Funny. There is a big difference in achieving immediate results and building a lasting legacy. No one made any excuse here. I wonder where excuses came from. I said, relegation does not make the system wrong. The point is so simple.

By the way, Heartland FC did not buy Beyond the Limit's slot but Beyond the Limit dropped due to dual ownership. Same owner of Remo Stars.

Only God knows the reasons and logics behind NFF calling up players from abroad is all about. They are adding a right footed full back to the national team from Germany when they actually need to fortify the left back position in the national team. A right footed leftback (improvised) will not have the foot convenience of a left footed left back. Felix Agu is right footed, Plays as right or left back. The nff should have gone for decent left footed left back. And the right Felix should had been Uduokhai.

I am always baffled by the logic behind inviting players.
Not where they come from but just the tactics and coaching.
I mean i often wonder how the players we invite fit into the tactics of the coach.
I suspect we just invite players based on where they play or clamouring from some quarters in order not to make some people feel neglected.
When foreign born players are neglected we start calling them
When home based players are neglected, the coach calls them
When players in obscure leauges complain, we call them.

Calling players is just based on maybe sentiment or the present mood or if someone complains
or peharps knows someone. Its not based on coaching tactics or merits. Its funny.
There seem to be little coaching or tactical logic in our call ups. Just to make some people happy that all.
Like "Let us call home based players now so they will not say we neglected them". Its funny

Goodjoe in your hearts of hearts you know would have been giving all us a month long series of Ted Talks about the superior managerial ability of Amuneke if he had done well with Heartland. It's ok to like the man but it won't be beneficial to his coaching career if you keep making excuses for him.

Like Kog45 rightly said the Ikorodu United coach worked wonders without any funfair those are the kind of tacticians that need encouragement and support.

Nothing is open to debate .. it's just your emotions in play here..

As far back as 2016, when Osimhen was still struggling at the start of his professional career in Germany, you completely wrote him off and predicted all sort of doom ..it clear you don't rate him, so your opinion doesn't really matter...

Like I said, Osimhen has the accolades to back up the "world class striker" claim. If you're waiting for him to play in the premier league before you can acknowledge that fact, then you're on a long thing... nobody send you

Me personally, I don't want Amunike eyeing the coaching job. I will prefer him continuing what he is doing in the local and grassroot scene. Others can work on the National team.

I will rephrase. I would prefer a better season but a setback is not a defeat. I am okay with the relegation as long as Amunike continues the process. I believe wholeheartedly in the process and believe it will give Heartland FC and Owerri great returns in the long run.

How that can be equated to excuses baffles me.

"No time to waist indeed."

Talking about how he needs to leave the retirement league and bla bla bla. As if you were oblivious of the circumstances that led him there in the 1st place.

I shouldn't be engaging people like you who feel they're better than everyone else but can't find the right words to express themselves. Shame!

Una get time to dey debate Osimhen matter...

1 loan season and he became a LEGEND.

Highest scoring FOREIGNER
League highest goal scorer.
Turkish cup highest goal scorer.
Ranked no-1 (7.99) out of 267 players in The Super League.
Goals, Goals, Goals... All type of goals. Header, 1v1, wrestle with defender, acrobatic, flying nodding. 🤷🤷

Let nobody debate this guy again. Otilor.

The truth is, Amuneke is on his on process, Heartland is on a different process..
Amuneke's interests might be better served if he leaves Heartland..
There's a reason Guardiola avoids midtable teams...

Good thing Amuneke has gotten the experience on the NPFL
He needs to leave Heartland though
A coach of his caliber shouldn't be in the NNL
