Life moves so fast. We're always busy working, helping others, trying to reach our goals. But sometimes, it's good to stop and ask: When was the last time I felt truly happy?

Not the kind of happy that comes from watching a funny video or getting likes online. I mean real happiness, the kind that makes your heart feel full and your mind feel calm.

Maybe it was a fun moment with friends. A quiet morning with no stress. Reaching a goal you worked hard for. Or a warm hug from someone you care about.

True happiness is not always big or loud. Sometimes, it’s in the small, peaceful moments.

So, when was the last time you felt truly happy?

Honestly despite the money and achievements, I can’t remember when.

I am happy eveyday.
Never outgrew my inner child.
Everyday is joy filled for me.

Happiness is relative, what makes someone happy can be a sad moment for some people.

Some are only happy when there's a big win in their lives while others celebrate small wins.

Probably when I was 15years old (childhood generally) and used to sneak out of our estate to play street football and "koto" with the local kids.

We would organize street football competitions with neighboring streets. I was 2nd choice goalkeeper and used to man the post if Tuoyo our no. 1 goalee was unavailable. I was better at the post than him though... but I always preferred to play my favorite position and was comfortable playing any position in defense. I was a rugged defender.

We would make trophies out of empty tin cans aka "kpangolo" and dead light bulbs. Making them shiny with the inner linings of empty cigarette packs.

Those days bring back genuine happy memories.

Pure bliss...no worries, no care in all the world at all. Just play, eat and sleep. Person no dey even care wetin to chop. You just know you will eat.

Genuine happiness. Sometimes I wish I was a kid again!🙈

3 years ago, since relocation haven't been that happy, but that's life as an adult.

Last time was in primary school.

A broke man can never be happy. The fear of what tomorrow brings is enough to take away your happiness.

It was September, 1996, the happiest time of my life thus far.

I was in Lesotho for the weekend... Come to think of it, it's like I've travelling a lot lately instead of saving for December...

I was also supposed to be in Limpopo, but I had to choose between Limpopo and Lesotho... Hopefully I won't be broke by December...

When I am drinking with these set of acquaintances and be making so much loud noise at a particular spot.
Some would be like, I saw your car that's why I branch, others would be like 'na your voice I deh hear from barracks'

Yes it is. Some pple dey bear the name " happiness" but joy still remain illusion to them.

No be fit make you happy if u tie ur happiness to material, human and resources.

Why wait for money before you can be happy. Why can't you be happy now. I'm broke(money wise) but I can't answer the Op question because the more appropriate for me is when was the last time I was sad which was 2022 when I lost my mum (my only surviving parent) but since then I am always happy. If you can always be happy or try to love or feel loved just positive emotions generally and think about all you what(better still try to key into the feelings of when you've achieved a goal or attain an achievement) then it's just a matter of time for you to attain your goals. Yes even money. Sometimes I try to remember the last time I was angry just to check if my mental health is fine(yeah you need negative energy to sometimes to balance out things, anger is your mind signaling disrespect)

For real I can’t remember when was the last time I was happy, maybe my NYSC POP.. well I know the next time I would be happy will be my wedding day in the future.
But for now we move 😁😁

I can’t honestly remember when, but its amazing the effort we most times but into things that end up not making us happy; schooling, marriage, pursuits of money and worst of all thinking that you will be happy when you make those around you happy 😡

I am tempted to think the moment you live free and stop giving a damn about most things, the happier you will become.
