Cyriel Dessers now has two goals in two matches against Ghana. Our Ghanaian 'bredas' must be really scared of the sight of him. 😄

Overall, he now has 3 goals in 7 matches for the Super Eagles and those 3 goals all came in just 4 starts. What a player!!! 🔥😎💥

Here's a link to the goal he scored today:
It's surprising that he has only played for he SE in friendly games so far, none of his appearances have come in official games.

Chrisantus Uche is in camp, albeit he will be starting against Jamaica on Saturday. He came late to camp that was the reason he did not take part in yesterday's game.
Felix Agu should start against Jamaica. If he performs well then he should be invited in September for our world cup qualification games.

I expect to see a midfield trio of Uche ,Ndidi and Onyeka against Jamaica on Saturday.

Considering the tempo of the game, the introduction of Iheanacho was a school boy error.
What was needed was a genuine midfielder, who can win duels and slow down the game with good controls of the ball.
I was screaming this all day
Even the Musa sub..
But then he didn't invite enough midfielders to start with
Our coaches have a serious midfield problem

The pressure from Ghana in 2nd half was expected and this was an opportunity to test the resilience of our back 4
I believe this game was meant to discover new legs for lacking positions in the team and not about the win particularly
Our back 4 is not good at all we need rehabilitation there as well as a good holding midfielder who can control a game conveniently
That's why I was wondering why he took off Papa Daniel
Man was doing some dirty work in there..

Both are too similar to be starting together

To be honest this Osimhen is a good player oo but bad advisers.

Even ighalo tried to advise him on how he just reduced his wages just to play for man united because that was his dream club.

Nothing wrong in reducing your wages just to play in a club that can guarantee you a champions league and epl league trophy there after in your 30s you move to Saudi to make money

There will always be money leagues like MLS and Chinese league then now Saudi league soon it maybe Qatar or UAE leagues who knows.

Many years from now it what you will look back at are the trophies and memories you won and created on the pitch.

What's the essence of going to Saudi make all the money and then start to lavish it in clubs, dashing bobriskys, vdms and celebrities that won't have care if you didn't make it through life

You prioritise your career over money, with the money he has made already he can't be poor again in life

Well, I am not surprised the typical African man is always obsessed with money and same character is what reflects in our elites and political leaders because they're a reflection of the character of the people they lead

Okay 👍🏾

How good was the Ighalo (then) that reduced his wages? No be from China he go Man Yoo? How many goals he score for them?

Abegi, Ighalo reduced his wages doesn't make it a must that Osimhen should. Make una rest.

And who told you he has accepted to go to Saudi, all these Epistles on false news.

I was at the GTech yesterday and the atmosphere was great BUT it felt like a home game for Ghana. Their fans outnumbered us at least 2:1. That advantage, the fact they were 2 goals down coming into the second half and the introduction of Senior Man and Musa is what made Ghana edge the second half of the game.

Also from about 60 mins, Pa Bonu or whatever his name is, the guy on the right side of attack for Ghana was able to easily receive passes on the edge of the Nigerian final third and cause problems. Why? Because the left side of our midfield was holding a position too narrow, leaving just enough space wide on the pitch for opponents to run into. Either Simon Moses had to drop in to support Bruno and cover that space when we were out of possession or a forward player had to be sacrificed for an additional midfielder.

Learning stuff like this is what friendly games are all about though.

Is it this current Man U that will guarantee osihmen a trophy? Abi na arsenal make Una fear God na!

You guys are just overrating these European clubs, the way things are going none of the so called bigger fancied European clubs is winning any major European trophy this year. Tottenham just won europa and the champions league is between inter or PSG from the so called farmers league so what’s all the fuss about sef. I don’t understand o!

Left to me osihmen should even go to a mid club like Newcastle or Aston Villa who are showing good promise but folks here will come and say those clubs are not good enough for him but an almost dead club like Man U or a rudderless arsenal is better abi, those are the clubs he should reduce wages for? Breathtaking game of football from both teams,
Game of both half's, Eric chelle's style of play will gas out players easily , reason for the poor second half, also moving forward KC and musa have no business in this team,...
I wonder how hard it is for our coaches to understand we don't have the personal for a two-man midfield,
he should tweak it. Teams can easily use that against us. Take the European games involving premier League teams and Spanish teams this season. The epl teams were able to win because they realized the Spanish teams could not keep up the tempo in the closing stages of the game.

The intensity with which his teams start games and Gas out in the later stages. The Zimbabwean coach also mentioned it after the game that he knew it would be difficult for the Nigerian team to maintain such intensity up till the later stages of the game and he exploited it.

Dessers has shown enough evidence he could be a reliable back up or good foil for Osimhen in attack.

Igoh, Sodiq, and the number 12 impressed me.

Jamaica play free flowing football..
They have quick and technical wingers..
They're not so good defensively though
Should be a good test for our boys

I pray we fix our midfield
We need to control games
This end to end way of playing will not help us in the long run

Dessers has scored 4 goals in 8 games (if you count the unofficial game against Algeria). Yet, Boniface has nothing to show for his superior number in appearance.
