Dated a female engineer. She was a top shot in an Engineering company, had an official car, chauffeur and all. Her billing was in the form of cash loans from time to time. Women will always expect their men to be providers even when rich. Well, with my own experience dating well to do ladies, it wasn’t like billing but they place you on a certain level of expectation.

I have dated two very well to do ladies and two incidents stand out. One wanted to change her complete 4 tires brand new for her SUV and was telling me over and over, I could tell she was expecting me to step in and offer to buy them, but even me I don’t change all four tires at once unless official car.

Second one was in a tight fix and just casually ask if I had 2m in my account that she needed to make a payment and will pay back by weekend. I just laugh cos na so wahala dey start. That's why I said like 5k or something. I can't remember the exact amount, but it was so expensive he had to call up friends. It wasn't like a small biscuit, it was like on the level of danish butter cookies...you know like a tin filled with cookies, and that is currently like 50k. So, maybe the biscuit was 3k and i'm remembering wrong, but I know for sure that biscuit was a couple of thousands back then.

Modern day women actually win it a lot and are the prize, at least in the developed world, where the economy provides stable and good jobs. Women have maintained their hypergamy, have economic opportunities and with the hypergamy still insist on getting men higher than they are. While working and as colleagues, they travel a lot. My female colleagues don go South Korea like twice within six months. Fine, mine would largely be because I am a new immigrant and passport issues, but our working-class women in the UK don visit Morocco and Central Europe steadily. Those in Canada and the US don tour South America and Mexico tire. I no dey see men for all this waka. I follow on IG who has toured almost everywhere in Europe and now seeks a "finance or tech bro". The ones I job hunted with here are touring Europe and the US steadily. Women dey enjoy life steadily, and I have realised that they can do it all by themselves without needing men's presence. But men no fit enjoy themselves without bringing women into the mix.
