Truidstarr:
The real question is do the players in the NPFL believe in the league? Everyone wants to go abroad. Ask any player what is his ambition next season. Na to Japa.
The development of the league is not with the players, but with the league managers.
What do you want the players to do, football career is short lived.
Na to japa to places where they can earn not just good money, but other things such as healthcare, in the event of injuries.

What clubs are these foreign pros in that play high intensity pressing?
Fulham, Nottingham forest, etc.

Chai, we have suffered, so this is the excuse that Chelle came up with it.
God help us.

Let us be very clear, a high pressure game is not new to the foreign pros.
We watch these guys, week in and out.

Even at that, he has up to five substitutions to make for outfield players, so what is he saying.
He can manage his team well for any high intensity game, if he is moxie enough.

This one gave him out big time.
I think I have been patient enough to gain proper discernment.

Eric Chelle should please do serious work on his knowledge of the game.
You gerit, there is a knowledge gap that could be too costly in the near future

not only osimhen but nigerian players in general

Have you noticed that other African players that manages to shine and remain consistent in 1-2 season get a big move easily to top clubs unlike our players?

I think it has to do with the agency and management team of the players. May they are greedy and tend to demand much during negotiations
Emmanuel Dennis
Gift Orban
Boniface

There's no agenda there my man. Not seen any PR like Dennis before he left Club Brugge.

Our players make the best moves on the continent

Exactly.. it's an "agenda"
More like I think there's something they seeing that we aren't seeing.
Napoli fitted a 50% reduced release clause in his contract for goodness sake.

But I think clubs are talking to him first before moving in.
Any club that triggers his clause will announce him in 24hrs.

According to Buchi Laba, several clubs have approached Osimhen, even as early as January, some even wanted him to sign a pre- contract
But he told all of them he was committed to seeing out the season with Gala first, before listening to any offers, that's why it looks like things are quiet now..
I believe more will come to light in the coming days
I'm absolutely sure he's moving this summer..

Dessers is most reliable than the rest of our strikers.

I need him in 3-5-2 with V09. I want to check something . cool
They should forget all them Moffi, Akorodare, Boniface. Dressers is the man

Éric Chelle as Super Eagles head coach 🤵🏼‍♂️
🎮: 3 games
🟢: 2 wins
⚪: 1 draw
🔴: 0 losses

Sorry for the picture, I no see Chelle own, someone had to represent 😏
That draw against Zimbabwe was a loss

Make una forget that Boniface. He's not an eagle. Sadiq too.

Dessers and Moffi carry eagle DNA.

These players wey u mention so no fit play for chelles system…even the ones wey we feel say dem sabi run 🏃,gas out for second half eg onyeka

I will advise him dt if he’s doesn’t find d right personal for his style he wants the team to play ,he shld adjust and adopt a style dt will suit our players profile we have b4 its too late(Goke7 advice) cos I am still in d offing eying d job 😎

But if he can pull it off,we will be a big menace to any team in d world cos dis style of play will always create loads of problems and chance to score the ppponents. We could av killed off st yday game by 4-nil in first half if we had converted our chances
I was just nodding until the bolded. I just weak

NPFL players do not have the kind of drilling in tactics that many of the foreign base players have been exposed to.
Rohr complained so much about this.

In fact, NPFL players are still crude.
That's the lie we keep telling ourselves all these years most especially ever since Gernot Rohr came into the scene. I can say a lot but it appears no one is willing to listen. So let's keep it all up. Soap go soon clear for our eyes. Let's see what happens after the world cup qualifiers

The right section of our team leaks a number of goals
Hoping they shut that pipe
Ive observed this
Vs Tunisia Afcon 2021
Vs Ghana WCQ & Unity Cup
Vs Equitorial Guinea Afcon 2023
Vs Zimbabwe WCQ
etc

Seems Chelle set up his team in a good way to potentially score setpieces

Dear Eric Chelle,
Please deploy Victor Osimhen and Dessers as a two-man strike force for the remaining World Cup qualifiers. Thank you. 🤝

West Brom, AC Millan.

Playing at a high intensity will not fetch results, if you don't know what you are doing.

I appreciate your perspective.

Look at VO progression in football ⚽ at Royal Charleroi, Lille, Napoli & now Gala in all these clubs he has been the center of attention in a pyramid structure with him the quintessential number 9, the Focal point of all forward play.

What happens when he goes to Chelsea, Manchester United and or Manchester city. He will not be the star ✨ boy and focal point of their football strategy.

He will have to adjust and adapt as well as compete with other star players in a league with high expectations if you don't hit the ground running you will benched.

If he goes to Newcastle he will be that Guy as long as he performs and if Watkins leaves Villa same thing. Tottenham have been in transition for nearly 10 years and he will be competing with Solanke it may be difficult VO is not Harry Kane.
Something dey do you...

But oshimen can opt for 200k weekly now if they bargain well. Use his role model talk to him with the plan to review after 1 or 2 season
That would be around 104k after taxes. Osimhen would accept 200-250k after taxes. Chelsea and Man United should be able to cough that up for a striker of Osimhen's caliber.

I think the following combination will be more effective:

Lookman - Osimhen,
Boniface - Osimhen,
even Christantus - Osimhen

Nigeria won the first edition, it won't be a taboo if we win the second edition too.

That was not how westerhof won the 94 nations cup. I think this idea needs to die. If you can displace a supposed foreign based player.. by all means... why not?

How will they get exposure if your starting 11 is always gonna be figured out?
The NPFL was much stronger in the 90s. If the likes of Kanu, Amokachi, Okocha, etc came up in this era, they would've been snapped up while in the academies before making their debut in the NPFL.

Do you watch the NPFL or you are just driven by your feelings.
There is a reason NPFL clubs don't do well at the continental level.

We talking majors (major trophies) not mickey mouse cups.

If anyone cites Unity cup as an achievement now.... then they will explain why they dont rate Christian Chukwu's triumph in 2004 which was more impressive.
