Gabriel2005:When you reach where you will upload documents, you will know. You have to start the journey first before crossing the bridge. |

Abbebbay:Hello there. Have you now received a decision/collection email from VFS? |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Debbieeeeeee: 2:06am On May 29, 2025 |
kman3000:Hi please at what point were you able to pay for priority? The options aren’t on the vfs website. I hope you get your passport in time for your travel next week. All the best! |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Ashirioluwa: 3:19am On May 29, 2025 |
Debbieeeeeee:Contact VFS to find out if your passport has arrived at their office. |

Ashirioluwa:How do one contact them? Their lines are weird |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by jmoore(m): 7:07am On May 29, 2025 |
Gabriel2005:After payment you will be redirected to the biometric site. |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Debbieeeeeee: 7:27am On May 29, 2025 |
kman3000:Funny though I didn’t see it, I just went to begin another dummy application now just to be sure my eyes wasn’t failing me, I didn’t see that option. Usually the option is on the TLS website but in this case I don’t see it anywhere and I emailed VFS but no response. This transition from TLS to VFS isn’t working well at all, I remember the transition from VFS to TLS was not this bad in the end of 2013. Maybe we should return to Walter Carrington days 😂😂. |

kman3000:If you live close it’s better to go in person as their communication lines aren’t so efficient or responsive. |

Hello guys. So I've got a job and CoS is ready. However, I need a certain amount to be in my account for 28 days for the visa application process. I have just started the POF account for the process. My question is, can I go ahead to pay for the visa application now booking biometric capturing for when the account might have passed the required 28 days.? Hope the question makes sense. Thank you. |

Hello Guys, I think I need help at this point. I applied for my mum’s visa back in March but it was refused because I said she was retired but in the actual sense she wasn’t retired she was just unemployed and that was an honest mistake. Then I corrected this in another application I made earlier this month as I thought it was an easy fix. I explained in the application and cover letter that it was a case of misprofiling. The new application has been rejected and the reasons don’t make sense to me. Firstly it states that there’s is not regular income coming to her account that’s false because I attached her bank statement that shows the weekly allowance I give to her. It ranges between 50k to 100k every week and that’s the only income that goes into her account. It’s also talking about her not having money in her account for the visit when we have clearly said I will be sponsoring the whole of her trip in the application form and invitation letter. The second reason of ties, we attached her land documents and also got reference letter from our mosque stating she a volunteer ass well as consent letter form my dad. I don’t know if this decision can be appealed but I don’t think this is fair at all. Please I need advice

adecoal:First of all, I think you should take a break from applying for your mom. Wait till December or early next year before putting in another application. A major issue I see is the variation in the weekly allowance you send to her. My advice is to send her money once a month. Let it be the same amount, and let it be on the same date. Tell her to keep her expenses around the same amount for each month. As sponsor, your own account should also be clean. Same credits and debits each month. I don’t think the problem in this case was home ties, so you can attach the same land documents, consent letter, and letter from the mosque on her subsequent application. |

Thank you. Yes I do not plan to apply till December tbh. Also think they have not just considered the fact that I was sponsoring her fully when they said she doesn’t have money for the visit. I also think they haven’t considered the fact that I send her money at all I mean I can send her monthly allowance going forward but I think there’s something off about their reason. My account is clean I’ve only got on source of income and it’s very consistent. crackcrack: |

adecoal:Marriage is a substantial tie. You need to also be submitting more than a consent letter. Prove that the marriage is genuine and subsisting and for this cause she must return to her marriage. Did you submit a bank statement for her?? They said they are unaware of her circumstances Send a PAP. No need to get more refusals. |

Hi all, I am trying to book for biometrics appointment in Lagos now, I'm seeing GIG 22.36 pounds for courier service. 1. Please is there any other courier services like DHL that I can use and won't be that expensive? 2. Also assuming I didn't choose this option while I booked the appointment, can I still opt in for courier service when I go for biometrics so my passport be delivered to me?? Thank you as a await your response. |

Good day everyone. Please what are the documents to be uploaded under Proof of Application apart from the checklist? Am I to upload my data page and Visa application form too? Will greatly appreciate your feedback/insights. Thank you! @cashmadam @hunee @giselle237 |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by adecoal: 6:32pm On May 30, 2025 |
Yes I submitted her bank statement this is where it can be seen that I send money to her weekly but I don’t think they have looked at it at all. Thinking of sending a PAP. Is it better to do it via gov.uk or via email? giselle237: |
