He needs to improve on releasing the ball quickly and less selfish

Make them turn up for our remaining qualifying matches abeg..

Chelle you sef abeg..

See the importance of a proper midfield..
We completely nullified all Jamaica's counters and created loads of chances..

Never neglect your midfield again Chelle..

GOOD MATCH AS USUAL
SUMMARY
DESSERS, UCHE AND OGBU IN
ALL HOME BASED PLAYERS OUT UNFORTUNATELY (THE COUNTRY FAILED THEIR TALENTS)
NOW OBVIOUS WHY TELLA HAS BEEN CONSISTENTLY BENCHED
AGU IS DECENT, BUT WE ALREADY HAVE DECENT LEFT BACKS, WE’RE LOOKING FOR A TAYE TAIWO OR ANOTHER OLA AINA ON THE LEFT
FEDRICK IS FOR THE NEXT 1-2YEARS, YOU CAN SEE THE SIGNS
UNPOPULAR OPINION BUT NWABALI IS A TICKING TIMEBOMB, I KNOW HE’S TRYING BUT I THINK WE SHOULD PUSH FOR THE WREXHAM GUY AND ATOBOLU AND CO. TILL WE FIND A PROFESSIONAL

Cyril Dessers has earned his spot as one of the 3 regular strikers to be called up later this year
Arokodare lacks precision in his game if you ask me,, even though he is a team player. We need strikers that would convert half chance if they are given the space
I really don’t know why Iheanacho was going for goal at crazy positions on the pitch

1. Victor Osimhen
2. Cyril Dessers

Umar Sadiq, Victor Boniface, Terem Moffi, Tolu Arokodare, Orban would have to fight for that last spot. Personally I don’t think Arokodare has got that fire striker killer instinct

Congrats to Uche, his first match for Nigeria. Boy is powerful on the ball while advancing, SA are in big trouble if they think they can easily handle that Yaya Toure type of player
Chukwueze was fantastic in this tournament

Unfortunately, no home based player impressed.
Sadiq’ has serious defensive issues, even though he can be helpful offensively
I doubt he’s really under 23 because he lacks pace. Ghanaian & Jamaican wingers were having fantastic sprints on his flank
I guess Sodiq is the only NPFL player that had brief shiny moments

Chukwueze in my opinion is Unity Cup MVP grin
Too big for the tournament, shouldn’t have been invited grin

It is significant that all the debutants impressed heavily today and are expected to be key going forward for the remaining WCQs and the Afcon in Morocco.

✅️Benjamin Frederick, marvel at the back

✅️Felix Agu, did well on his debut owning that left side

✅️Christantus Uche, instant top quality upgrade in midfield. We could all see it plus he has the mental profile of a born winner.

That nwabali matter, maybe the burial of his mum and dad affected him ( he's burying both of them next week)
Maybe he's not quite there emotionally..
Even his dives for the penalties were off..

He needs some time off .

Overall good friendly games that should give Chelle an idea of how to balance. His team will create chances that's very clear unfortunately midfield is too sparse and defense too shaky that we will surely concede.

But men Ndidi cry otilor I saw one Jamaican midfielder turn him neat water comot for my eye.

Desser should definitely for now deputize Osimhen or be his partner if going two up top.

Happy with Benjamin Fredricks introduction first of many caps God willing.

Sodiq good going forward but very raw defensively. Needs plenty work.

Agu looks decent.

Tolu's full of energy and has decent link up play however I don't think he's better than Moffi, Awoniyi or Boniface when they're in form but the 3-4th striker positions are definitely open.

Again overall good work out to prepare us for September and the AFCON.
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by minfelix(m): 7:26pm On May 31, 2025
My take here is, super eagles can still be a fierce team, if the right midfield mix is there…our no2 was the major culprit in this tournament, he doesn’t know how to cover up his space for marking(but he is a very good ball crosser, all his crosses brings goal scrambling scares in the opponents box
-Felix Agu topnotch performance
-Desser quality deputy striker(he will make a good pairing with Osimhen)
-Uche is already a menace of a player
-Chukwueze has found a new role in super eagles(he was all over the pitch doing the okocha dispersing passes and dribblings)

This is a game super eagles dominated from beginning to the end, but the cameo chances Jamaica got was well utilized.
-Iheanacho, though no longer fans favourite, but he still got those sweet moves…

we just need to beat teams and hold on to our lead…this is the psychology Chelle should work on

Putting good numbers in bundesliga is not joke and tolu not doing bad
As for boniface probably when we play against team that allow space he will come good
Tolu just few cap to conclude
God bless you 🙏🏾😇
