TheSuperNerd:
It is significant that all the debutants impressed heavily today and are expected to be key going forward for the remaining WCQs and the Afcon in Morocco.

✅️Benjamin Frederick, marvel at the back

✅️Felix Agu, did well on his debut owning that left side

✅️Christantus Uche, instant top quality upgrade in midfield. We could all see it plus he has the mental profile of a born winner.

We won the cup, yes
It will do wonders for our confidence..
But the questions remain..

Can Chelle manage this team?
He had time to salvage the Sodiq situation, yet he allowed it become an emergency..

If Jamaica were a better team, would we have won?

I like that he packed the midfield in the second half
That should be his starting midfield bar Ndidi..

All in all, we'll take the win
Looking forward to the Russia game next week

Let's test ourselves against potentially better opposition

Good tournament.
Gave us the chance to access fringe players, now the experiment should be over.
On the side of the coach, Chelle needs to restructure how we defend. His team just can't defend when it matters most and conceeds cheaply. He's young and obviously learning on the job, but must not continue making the same mistake all the time. Two man midfield weakens our team and must not be continued.
I like what I saw in Uche and he should be considered in a 3man midfield.
This team must not miss WC

Achraf Hakimi, arguably the best RB on the planet just put PSG ahead in the UCL final. Not many African lads have scored a UCl final goal. He did it against another of his former teams too.

Hakimi stands on the threshold of history tonight.

The way the Jamaicans played is what i expect from Rwanda in September(dominate them from start to finish, but might leak in goals if chelle doesn’t fix that defense), while the way Ghana played us is what SA is gonna give to us in september (win the posession and struggle to contain them in second half)

if Fifa deduct SA points, then world cup qualifiers will be fight to finish…cos these guys that played jamaica today are f**cking aggressive and agile and hungry….lets see how it goes

What did we say about PSG's attacking threat in Europe all season? Against Liverpool we saw it.

Now they are tearing Inter apart in the final. Na wa ooo

Éric Chelle is a good coach, he's translated this team from playing aimless football to dribbling in the midfield, holding the ball more, pressing from the front and creating loads of chances.

I believe he knows his squad going on from now. Omo I'm impressed, he needs to work on his in-game management, but man, he's a manager. Strict and disciplined.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubts..
There are definitely improvements in our game, no doubt...
I'll just chalk it off to his learning curve with the team..

Ejuke should’ve been called up instead of governor Ahmed Musa
NFF président don go waste slot
Musa wey get family engagement
We don’t want politics in our football anymore
Keep underrating South Africa, NFF administration eye never clear yet

He has the right mental capacity to go really far in the beautiful game. Congrats Nigeria, we have a mega Beast MF.

......nothing can satisfy some of you sha. Best coach ever for Super Eagles since Late Stephen Keshi is Chelle.

He understands the job and he is doing fantastically well. I know some of you never wanted him but to be honest - he is right man to fix the team.

He reminded of 1994 Set today. We played 4 - 4 - 2 formation and fully controlled the game as we used to in the 90s.

If Osimhen was in the game, we would have sealed the win before end of first half. Imagine full squad, especially Aina as RB and Lukman behind the Striker.

Let's see what the team will play against Russia, but no doubt Chelle is him.

God bless you bro.

You took the words right out of my keyboard! It's glaring that the man's philosophy is gradually soaked by the players, still unbeaten since he took charge... Heck, he even unlocked a new aspect of Chukwueze we've not seen before.

Against Russia, we'll see how we'd fare! I too believe Chelle...
