Makavelli001:
A friend of mine who work in one of the commercial bank received an invitation letter from an anti-crime agency to come to their office for questioning about a customer he opened account for. He haven't meet the customer before the customer walked into the bank to open account. Currently the customer is no where to be found. He has moved out from is address location.

So my friend is confused whether he should honor the invitation or not.??.huh

Because someone told him that if he goes to their office, he will be arrested unless they get the customer. Should he gohuh
He should lawyer up ASAP....

He can't keep hiding. It would be worse if they use state resources to fish him out.

Your friend did no wrong for opening account for any customer.

Yes,he did no wrong!

If the person is a politically exposed person and he lied when opening the acct, then it is not the bankers fault therefore,he should honour the agency as he would help in tracking the fellow.

There is a body in charge of exposing such customers...this is usually done by the operations department of every bank.

Additionally, tell ur friend to honour the visit with the banks lawyer.

sad Lesson to all Bankers especially waka waka bankers. Dnt just go out and open account for people. Always do ur KYC..
I dnt think dey should Invite you.The best bet is to come to yo office and interview yo bank manager, discreet information about you/even question u within the bank(since u dnt Involved in scam,fraudulent/steal person money).

This is why FBN won't just open Aza for u anyhow..

May you not see CASE.

AKOBA ADABA MAY WE NOT SEE
