Nigeria would have been better because prayers made many Nigerians lazy. They always pray and expect magic to happen. Nigeria's problem is man made not spiritual.

Reason I will always disagree with church people. Prayer has nothing to do with how the country is going.

If it does, how come countries that don't pray or even know our kind of God are doing far better than us.

Well he was talking to his church members so I can't fault nor blame him . It would have been a different issue if he said this at a press conference .

We should keep praying for clueless leaders so they can eventually sweep you all away with Their APC broom ?

The spiritual realm is far higher and controls what happens physically.

While we use work to influence the physical realm, we use faith to influence the spiritual realm. Both faith and work go hand in hand.

But the spiritual is much higher than the physical. So we need more faith than work to move Nigeria forward.

Pastor Adeboye is saying the truth, things could have been worse if not for prayers.

I think we didn't do enough work towards the achievement of this prayer request. When we hear of injustice, case of bribery and corruption, the church should speak up march and lead protest against it, often and often. And most at times, because we are afraid of death, we can't do it. But that wasn't what the church fathers handed down to us. The early church fathers died for the truth.

..it's not only a matter of everybody to vote..but to vote for a good and competent presidential candidate that will address and tackle poverty, hunger, hardship, inflation, high costs of living, high rate of unemployment, insecurity not to be voting for bad leaders and politicians
