It isn't widely spoken, and shouldn't be on that list.

Hausa is still the dominant language in the northern belt of West Africa. No wifing there at all. Fulanis speak Hausa.

On why it's not there, I think they stopped at languages that are listed as official in 3 countries. I believe Hausa is official only in Nigeria and Niger, so 2.
