I was about to say this.
Can't past his man and can't pass

We need to talk about Simon Moses. He spoils attack nowadays. What happened to this guys? He can’t take on defenders anymore

Simon Moses should not be starting games for us.

Our team sets Boniface up to fail. It's sad to see. Anyone who has watched him for more than 5 mins knows he is best on the ball, not off the ball like an Osimhen-type striker. Drop him deep to create, move Fisayo up top to press and make runs.

This match is missing the Chukwueze we saw in the unity cup. Our players don't know how to take players on.

What a save
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by drDoom3(m): 6:46pm On Jun 06, 2025
Our coach is not good enough. Fisayo and Chrisantus are runners, not creators. Onyeka is a ball winner, not a creator. Without deep creators, you cannot create chances. As long as we have Boniface ahead of these guys instead of behind them, we won't create any meaningful chances.

First attempt at goal, good save or maybe miss by Fisayo.

Boom. First shot on target came from Boniface playing a through pass for Fisayo to run onto. This is obvious for even the blind to see.

Iwobi is a creator. Chuks is a creator. Boni is a creator.

Fisayo is a runner. Osimhen is a runner. Chrisantus is a runner.

When your creators play ahead of your runners instead of behind them, you will always lose.

Not a bad first half, but, Simon should not come out for second half,

Wold had been 1-1 had Onyeka leave that ball for a better placed Bony,

We are playing very well..
Russia is too organized.. damn!
But kudos to Chelle
Set up this team perfectly..
Save that Semi's mistake and a few nervous moments, we had this game on lock ..

Boniface should be subbed..
Very poor positioning

Gbam! So who told him to drop deep and lay that pass? Why has he not been doing so from the beginning?

Boniface can give you that. But when you play him as the person to receive instead of give the through passes, he becomes neutralized.

It seems our coach is deceived by Boniface's physical profile. Being the biggest and strongest doesn't automatically make you a striker, Hojlund is a prime example. Football is played with the brain more than the body.

This is what happens when you replace a quality defense with so called big names. Fredrick is better defensively than Osayi, Ajayi, and Ekong.
Calm down abeg
