I've seen enough...
This team is ready for the world Cup..
We will not be disgraced there..

We just need to qualify first..
We are giving Russia the game of their lives ..
Them no believe am

Tolu has also moved ahead of Boniface..
Osimhen, Dessers, Tolu, Boniface
I want Boniface dropped but I come dey pity am. He's not just lucky
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m):
The annoying part is Tolu did not need 14 games to score oo.

This was Tolu's 5th game and none of them has been starts.

Boniface has 14 NT games now. His 7th start was today and he is still GOALLESS.

INFACT, he can go on sleeping.

Modified NB: Tolu's 4th game sef. Not 5th.

Steeze for steeze
Aura for aura
Pound for pound

Very little to separate both teams..

And to think Russia was initially complaining that we weren't bringing Osimhen, Lookman, Aina and iwobi.. lol

They got more than they bargained for today..

God bless Chelle..
I don become believer..
The second half impressed me where we showed character where I thought we could collapse completely.

Though I only watched d 2nd half ,
What I can say is ,I only pity South Africa 🇿🇦 in dis ,cos chelle won’t lose any of d 4 wcq matches…dis match and d previous one shows he now understands his team a bit unlike b4 when he just walked in straight to handle d two wcq matches.

South Africa 🇿🇦 will have demselves to blame for using doer hands to kill deir wc dreams

Here are my recommendation after watching today's game.

Ekong,Ajayi,Bruno and Osayi should be dropped going forward. Both CBs were sluggish today.I am not convinced with our RB and LB today.
Fredrick Benjamin,Igoh,AINA and Bassey should be our defenders going forward.

Our midfield trio should be Ndidi/Onyeka/Onyedika,Bashiru/ Iwobi, Uche.

Would love to see Ejuke invited to add width to our flank.
Simon Moses can't even dribble his marker, low budget Doku. I can't even remember him beating his marker.
Nathan Tella is no upgrade to the current wingers we have.

My top 3 strikers for the SE are VO9, Dessers and Tolu.

I will pick Okoye as my number 1.
He deserves it.

From my observations I think the midfield collapsed a little when chrisantus uche left
Uche didn't play nada. He was more like an ineffectual AM

Nobody dey talk about Tolu hold up play. I’ve watched that guy for a while now. That guy has alot to offer this team. Make the team gel wella first. We go see football from these guys. The passion is gradually coming back. . Today’s not Uche’s day. Onyedika presence on the field swallowed him. Simon moses should do and retire. Man played 90mins and put all foot wrong and almost cost is a goal
I don dey shout say Tolu na the closest thing to Osimhen when it comes to hold-up play and grit... He hasn't even gotten his first start.

He scored for the national team earlier than Osimhen 😁

5 Things:

1. This will boost Arokodare's confidence, though this goal will not count since it's an unofficial game,
2. Okoye has made a strong case for #1 goalie
3. Uche was a low key big impact player. We missed him after he was subbed off
4. Can we just forget about Boniface
5. Simon needs solid competition...

Our set up currently may not be for him, looks like we need taller players upfront. I feel sorry for him too

He did well. He was confident
True confidence, unlike Nwabali’s insecure own.
Nwabali is still number one though, Okoye will need 2 superb games or 3 good games to displace him.
We just have to qualify for this WC mehn, this FIFA thing is really worrisome, I’m already losing Confidence about SA’s point deduction.

I like how Chelle is improving every aspect of the team ....
Attack, midfield, defence..

This man really came to work and succeed..
God! how we have lacked a good, inventive coach who understands the needs and potential of this team..

God bless Chelle

Okoye has very poor ball distribution
That's a minus we can tolerate.

I don't like how Nwabali puts his defense under pressure by attempting to being a ball-playing GK.

Pros:
more striker options for us Tolu, Boni, Osi
midfield getting thick with options as well
probably competitive goalkeepers

Cons:
our central defence needs overhaul
we need options for our wing plays
our set-piece defence must be improved, we are always second to ball
since we have tall strikers, we must build accurate crossers of the ball
we need good carrier of the ball in the midfield with good passing range

this is the essence of friendlies, help to see where and how to improve
good play overall
