Okoye has improved. Seria A improved him.

-e go pain me if we no qualify for world cup🥺🥺🤦🏼
-Eric chelle is turning out to be the next sweet rhing after Keshi
-First half before we conceded that you own goal, we were playing russia half field on their soil, infront of 80k+ fans
-since 2023 russia has not conceded a goal, Nigeria just burst their bubbles.
- Iwobi or chuks in that midfield would have unlocked those guys defense more
- osimhen in that attack would have made their defense continually shyting on their pants for 90mins
-Boniface has to deal with unluckiness in his career, cos why would it be when he left the pitch, the keeper decided to gift Arokodare a goal, why e no do am when boniface dey there🤣
-I see us doing to Rwanda what we played Russia and Jamaica in the first half….then i see SA coming at us in the second half just similar to Ghana and Russia in the second half…

if we go all out aggressively on SA and Rwanda walai we go beat them like werey…..
Chelle is yet to lose a game…held Russia ok their turf is not bean

BankyGee:
I swear... I dey pity the guy.

Him and Zirkzee na the same kind of footballer them be.
I've never felt pity for a player like the way I feel now for Boniface. Not even when Jay Jay knelt down dejected during our 4-1 defeat by Denmark or Taribo bleeding in the head and weeping during Korea/Japan 02 did I feel the kind of pity I feel now for Boniface.

He's so unlucky. Others like Tolu and Dessers have edged him out.

-Moses simon is becoming a one-way traffic player
- Okoye is a worthy backup/Replacement for Nwabali…he was solid today

I also think its going to CAS regardless of the outcome.

For the bolded, you didn't have to be confrontational. Peace.
Sorry, that was not meant to be confrontational at all. Afterall it's not ur submission you only said u heard it somewhere.

Finally, finally, the team is forming, competition is brewing. Goalkeeping war is on...defenders are coming on stream...some are edging themselves out..clear as day....
Since Mikel Obi left...we lacked an average midfield...today...the middle is forming...still a puzzle...more friendlies needed to know who can pair who depending on the opposition... one thing is clear here...Chelle has found a perfect role for Chukwueze...top of the midfield, just behind the strikers...If Boniface pairs Osimhen and Chukwueze[a creator] plays just behind them,,expect another blitzkrieg

Overall...we are getting ready, not yet there...

The omen was right........

No matter how it ends great game so far the boys have shown some good performances and character. Am satisfied
Not satisfactory
We can’t go for the k.ill & we expect to win in SA ?
Tolu’s goal was a gift if you ask me but it’s nice to see Nigeria come back from conceding
I didn’t watch the game, just highlights

Moses Simon was off the beat today. One of his most forgettable games yet.

Of all the outfield players to play 90mins today (Ekong, Ajayi, Osayi, Bruno, Onyedika, Simon, Onyeka), Simon was the least involved in our plays today. He recorded the least touches.

Had Simon ever been a two way player before,

He doesn't know how to come out of tight spaces, put two me on him, it is finish

All of you are missing the point about Boniface

Dude is not an outright striker,... He is a winger... A right, direct, and purposeful winger

He has been played out of position all these while in the SE

A dare you all, play him on the right wing in a 4-3-3 formation for 3 games and I assure you all of a total of 3 goals and assists from him.

Dude is just unlucky to have been played out of Position all through his SE career

......

Besides I am not impressed with this result and our gameplay

We should always aim to win matches instead of giving excuses all the time

We need to install a winning mentality into SE, we were supposed to finish off the game after the equalizer

Tolu’s goal was a gift from the Russians
A sub that came on with energy
The way people are already hyping his goal
Smh grin
We won’t get that type of gift if we desperately need a goal or winner
Another draw for Chelle, looks like this is how he may go draw at South Africa’s backyard
I hope all the players are injury free post friendlies
1 win 2 draws
We just got it na.

Coachee Elyte89, I hope you see how valuable this friendly was afterall. Russia was indeed a pretty good test.

Eric Chelle... let's move on to the next chapter but I appreciate the good signs.

Joebie:
5 Things:

1. This will boost Arokodare's confidence, though this goal will not count since it's an unofficial game,
2. Okoye has made a strong case for #1 goalie
3. Uche was a low key big impact player. We missed him after he was subbed off
4. Can we just forget about Boniface
5. Simon needs solid competition...
why shouldn't it count? The ban was only specifically for UEFA and FIFA COMPETITIONS. if their friendlies didn't count for the last three/four years they've been banned, their FIFA rankings is supposed to be way lower than the 35 they currently occupy

Can Chelle keep faith with Boniface like this? Maybe him playing alongside Osimhen or Dessers
This will work.

Play him alongside a clinical striker as SS, he should perform well

Makes it even worse. 4th cap, 1st Super Eagles goal bagged already.

Boniface has 10 more caps than him and 7 more starts than Tolu's Zero Starts and still on "Kondo"

That 2nd CF slot is truly up for grabs.

Thanks for the correction jare.

BankyGee:
Tolu's 4th, not 5th 😏

Who says the friendly wasn’t valuable haba that was good test of the coach ability against an organised opposition.

Simon has always been one-way. I thought he had learnt to keep things simple. He has passed the "need to shine". Just use experience to create space and do the simple things

To me dis friendly is even unnecessary…we re playing against Rwanda 🇷🇼 and South Africa 🇿🇦 in sept …what lessons are we going to learn from playing against Russia 🇷🇺 instead of playing an African side dt plays similar style like d countries we would face in sept … and play it in uyo ,so dt our boiz can break dt jinx of not winning at home ..we av played 3 matches in uyo (wcq) ,all na draw
Read above....

Now see my response below...

TheSuperNerd:
Russia spanked Zambia didnt they? Is Zambia not African? Coming up against a side that whitewashed another African team with ease.

Playing Russia is very okay. We need to test some of the new lads against tough quality opposition. Russia provides that.
