I think you'll just show up.

They might not even bother you depending how much you(belly) show. But just be prepared for all questions.

I don't know or haven't heard of the letter of intent after visa approval. I know you could have applied for birth tourism visa or something but it's nothing to give yourself headache over.

Unfortunately I don’t know the midwife’s contacts for now because my sister was the one that found her and she’s been delivered of her baby. I will have the contacts later, possibly

You have to book as early as 4th-5th month, my sister was lucky to find one after searching tirelessly for over a month

Hi dear, it depends on the area in Ontario because Ontario is a very large province and not all hospitals accept visitors because they don’t have OHIP ( Ontario health insurance plan). You can call/whatsapp or FaceTime me on +14377884353 or email me onyinyeeboh521@gmail.com to get a free quote. Accommodation with shared spaces and private basement apartments available as well. Cost includes Doctor’s fee, hospital fee for mum and baby, transportation, baby documentation, 2 months accommodation (to ensure you get all baby’s documents), nanny to accompany you for birthing and bathe your baby for two weeks

Is it best to apply for a birth tourism or visit visa. Also, my husband is a Ghanian and I'm a Nigerian, I am yet to apply for Ghana passport, as I have been using my Nigerian passport, I will love to use his document as my sponsor, hope it won't be an issue. Also my husband works for a multinational firm in Nigeria and we have an insurance that covers child birth anywhere in the world for the birth of 3kids, please how do we use it or we should just use our money. I will be glad if I get response. Thank you moms in the house

I believe as long as you put supporting documents that show you are married then you should be fine .

I believe you will present the insurance to the hospital and as for doctor, you will need to pay urself as they accept only cash and possible your husband insurance can refund you.

When you talked about paying in cash, we have a dollar account and card from Nigeria, must I withdraw the dollars, or can I use the card to pay the doctor, because you talked about cash payment.

For your own good make it a tourist visa and the Doctors here collect cash( Canadian dollars if you don’t have the insurance card from Canada here)

Did you have any need to get a Candian citizen to take you to the family doctor before linking you up to a gynea?
Did you get an airbnb or used a concierge service?
I'm also concerned about baby passport if one doesn't have a Canadian citizen that will stand as a surety.

I was moved to a secondary room for further questioning - questions like Why Canada? Why nowhere else in the world? Are Nigerians not giving birth safely in Nigeria? Is the child i gave birth to in Nigeria not in sound health? What exactly is the reason for my choice? Do I know what it cost to give birth here? Do I have all the money? I could go on....

I was already scared though I kept praying for God to speak thru me. It had been a ridiculous 4days long journey with flight cancellations and hotel stay inbetween and really couldn't deal with any further issues. But in all God took control and all glory to Him alone.

My advice! If you are not showing, just say you are visiting (problem here is your length of stay because you have a return ticket). So anyways, be mentally prepared for this- whether you choose to be honest about your intentions, get your story straight b4 you get to POE.

Can you pls let us know the airline you flew that cancelled their flight? Also at how many weeks preggos did you travel and what medical report did you go with, did port health in Nigeria give you any issues? Did you try and dress to cover the bump at all?

You don't need anyone to take you,just Google anyone close to where you will be
I used an air bnb,there are other ways to do it when you don't have a gurantor
