Ever since Napoli won that historic league title, Osimhen and Kvara's career trajectories have been complete polar opposites. Heck Kim Min Jae has gone on to win Bundesliga with Bayern.

I don't care how people on this thread continue to justify this situation, but at 26 years old one of the best strikers in the world has no business playing in Saudi Arabia. Victor should be rubbing shoulders with the world's best at the highest levels. If any of these Al Hilal reports are true, then it is truly disappointing. You can go and justify this situation anyhow, but this is truly disappointing. I hope I am wrong and he makes the right choice.

From a relegated Stoke that's lookin at thier budget, even with the parachute money. Etebo is untested unproven and short it is more of a risk for Stoke.

Has Etebo married a Portuguese wife or possibly got EU citizenship via Portugal ? Wondered how he got round the work permit rules.

First of all the basis of national team selection has to be outstanding consistent performance in league and club, EOD.

Chukwueze has had too many caps and not done much in my opinion and should not be there.

Olakunle has no basis to be there. Ndidi looks expired and hard working Frank doesn't offer any attacking threat.

I would have liked to see more effort to get a really top level CB like Tosin and there should have been more efforts to get midfielders Tim Iroegbunam and Carney Chukwuemaka.

Tolu looks very mobile and athletic for such a tall striker is he really 6"6❓ liked the composure and quality he used to score.

Igoh, Benjamin and Agu have not by club form justified inclusion, how many games has Benjamin played for Brentford ❓

What happened to Tella he has not had a run of games to make a claim, how could olakunle get in but not Tella.

Finally, Etebo is only 29 why don't we hear from him again did he upset somebody in the NFF.
When you become coach, invite Etebo

Very spot on observation doc. Onyeka brings that needed grit and energy when there's a threat especially of our midfield getting overwhelmed. That said Frank's lack of technical ability can be a hindrance especially when he gets into good scoring positions.

Ndidi has lost that ginger and even though he's better on the ball it's not by much. Wilfred's recent rigidity and slight lack of pace makes it too easy for opponents to bypass him. If he only had Onyeka's strength and physical presence.

TheSuperNerd:
I agree Ndidi is better on the ball than Onyeka but credits to Onyeka pls... you saw the passing sequence that led to Fisayo being one on one with Safonov in the Russian goal. Who was the architect of that passing sequence that created that chance? It was Frank Onyeka.

I had to find the highlight of that chance to see it again... Firstly Onyeka brilliantly intercepted a Russia throw-in on the Naija right wing which fell to FDB.... FDB touched it to Onyeka and sped off... Onyeka drove forward, took out 2 challenges in sweet quick take ons and laid the pass to Boniface who found the still running FDB who was now one on one with Safonov.

We missed that big chance but that chance had Onyeka written all over it. He created that chance single handedly with his industry and BTL-style vertical plays.

Ndidi may be better on the ball but Onyeka has better drive vertically and contributes better to offensive transitions than Ndidi.

These clowns who have been on Osimhen's matter since he became a Nigerian star, what is the colour of your problem?
Are you jobless or lovesick? How can we help you? Is it mental health issue?

Everyday these elements come up with a myriad toxic claims about how Osimhen has declined, how he cannot equal Yekini's record, how his career has nosedived, how he scores only penalties, etc.

I reckon all you Osimhen haters would be really problematic in your interpersonal relationship in real life.
I can't reconcile how you combine hate with inferiority complex. Is Europe the only place where football is played?
If the European clubs value him, let them break the bank or forever remain silent.

if Osi goes KSA, for many of us including me, it's a very disappointing move but i believe he must have considered all that's needed and probably has more info than we do about this issue, i also think his family must have played the biggest role in making this decision and all that matters for him now is his family.
i wish him the best, more laurels and wins anywhere he chooses best for his family's future

Osimhen's overenthusiasm might be his weakness. He really needs to learn a whole lot. Pls if I recall well, when he won the league with Napoli he flew his family in to Italy . His elder sister had called him out on social media to express her pain (this things all starts in the family) about how Osimhen treated her husband who was Osimhen's agent/sponsor. In fact she was barely happy in any of the photos, her unmet psychological expectations from the sour relationship...

Osimhen wins the league with Gala and this time brings in Tunde Ednut , VDM and his beloved all loving family of twitter influencers. His daughter and Cameroonian girlfriend (still in his life picture) but without his immediate family to celebrate the rally?? Why though will this happen?

His outburst with Finidi is left to time to heal for me as a Nigerian . But his medium and language of communication was totally preposterous. Is that how he actually talks when pissed or upset? That's not a man stuff and I recall his elder sister spelling it out that he is a boy.
Paparazzi are always flooding or after celebrities, but you will go after one and snatch his camera or whatever happened, this can only be swept under the carpet by the influence of his big club Gala. but to others in the business this seems like a turn off in personality. Even Balotelli is more European to Osimhen, Ballo could attract the big clubs he is black with an Italian identity. You are not.
Osimhen cannot continue to be a boy. Life will hit you and to go to Saudi , because of who or what is a backhand slap on his quality of football. Quietly , Fabian Ruiz is doing great with PSG. Kvara scored in the CL final as well. Kim Min will always win at Bayern. Wining at Gala is good. going to Saudi is bad. But worse is his character that cannot sustain his relationship with family and his work.

Not really bro, Napoli yet to reach an agreement with Ahilal as we speak but personal terms have been reached with Osi

Osimhen closing in on Al Hilal move
Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has now accepted Al Hilal's contract offer, according to Sky in Italy.

Napoli and the Saudi Pro-League club must now come to a final agreement, with Al Hilal having submitted a bid of €70m, €5m short of the Serie A club's valuation of the player.
