There's no state in Nigeria where imported rice is selling for 122k. You can presently get a 50kg bag of rice for 60k in Lagos.

A bag of rice is still sold between 90k to 88k in Delta state. I. Bought one worthless half bag of rice for 39500 last month.
If it cheap in the west doesn't mean, it cheap everywhere.

Fuel can never drop to that amount. Unless there is subsidy. The price of unrefined crude oil is even more than 500 naira and it is around 700 naira per litter in the international market. So after all the wahala, they won't gain abi?

Lol...i posted the price in one of my replies a liter is 42 cents. While the price for a barrel is between $62-$64 depending on the type of crude.

Need I remind you that the lower the price of crude oil, the lower should be the price of petroleum products. So if a barrel of crude is about $64 not $100 (or above) as it used to be a couple of years ago, why does fuel keep rise?

My people bought it for 60k ,when i gave them money for sallah...i dont think rice is old anywhere for 155k

I just came back from Boku supermart now and 50kg foreign rice is around 70k and as some people just said it is likely to go down after Salah.

I bought a bag here in Portharcourt for #65k. I used to buy for 97k

So, you need methodology for everything? When you enter market and they give you price, ask them to explain how they arrived at the price... Or when bike man charges you for a trip, ask him to explain his methods. When you hear that mortality rate is 15 per cent for instance, do you not know how mortality rate is calculated? Do you need to see methods for things that clearly have accepted formulae?
