chrisooblog:Tell me one CB better than him Tosin in the SE , a non committal answer is exactly that. Nigeria has notsfr an official quest to get him and neither has England. All he can do is wait for who will come knocking first. And it's not etiquette for players to beg to be selected you get invited you do not invite yourself. I really really liked Etebo expected him to destroy the Championship 🏆 but it destroyed him it seems. After his exploits in the world cup had great expectations. Tella has not a enough games to judge him he is a far better crosser of the ball than Chukwueze who can't cross a ball to save his Life. |

BankyGee:I am even tired of the whole KSA transfer gist. This was the last post from Buchi regarding the offer. "Lastly, There’s no agreement between Al Hilal & Victor Osimhen. First 2 offers rejected and he’s taking his time on the 3rd offer & also considering all other offers. He’s in no rush to make a crucial decision. "Victor Leaves for Nigeria today to properly start his holidays" |

Ppogbae:very disappointed if he later signs for al hilal. Saudi move is for retirees not people in their prime na. as much as we feel betrayed by his decision, we also have to remember we cannot dictate what he should do in his career. Gutted reading the news but Good luck to him on his new club and the rest of his career. |

I honestly thought Victor would've emulated CR7's career and be breaking UCL records by now. That dude is a special generational talent and could surpass the likes of African giants like Salah and Mane. Oh well he is still young so let's see where this takes him. |

Osimhen's transfer has always been full of suspense, from Lille to Napoli, from Napoli to Galatasaray. I'm very sure he would always choose what is best for him and I wish him well in his sojourn. Whether in Europe or anywhere else he chooses to ply his trade, I would always be an Osimhen fan. The monster machine journey so far...... Only a minute number of footballers have this to their names.

Are you Tosin's confidant to know if anyone has approached him to play for Nigeria? Iwobi has also said he spoke to him the decision is up to Tosin when he's ready. Bassey is at worst the same level as Tosin. Again I repeat Adarabioyo doesn't bring anything dramatically special to upgrade the backline. Nice to have but not must have. If Tella was an upgrade on Chukwueze I would be the first to call for his inclusion but he's not. Nathan is not a regular starter at Leverkusen plus how many assists does he have from crosses that you dubbed him 'far better' than Samuel? Chukwueze's problem is consistency. Once that is sorted his game will go up a level. He has shown in club and national team football to be devastating when on his game. komekn: |

It's normal for a player of Osimhen's pedigree to generate speculation. That said I believe Victor is a smart young man who will make the best decision for his career. If Saudi are the only serious suitors in terms of money then I would rather he stay with Gala. BankyGee: |

Raphael Onyedika and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru's impact are one the reasons why we kept possession of the ball in midfield and in the opposition's half. Both are excellent at the game of passing. We win a lot of duels in the middle, but go on to lose the ball because of an errant pass from a midfielder or from a forward. But yesterday's was different. |

komekn:2024/25 stats... Tella: 0.1 crosses per game (8%) Tella played 27 league games (17 starts) totalling 1,368 mins. Chukwueze: 0.4 crosses per game (20%) Chukwueze played 26 league games (9 starts) totalling 947 mins. Somehow, Chukwueze has a better cross metric than Tella. Also, Tella is not getting any younger. Like Chukwueze (already 26), Tella will hit 26 yrs next month. I wonder what magically exponential improvement he is gonna make at 26. Against Jamaica, he didnt impress. Looked very lightweight. As for Tosin... you can keep rambling about a 27y/o CB going on 28 in 3 months' time still waiting for an England callup. CALVIN BASSEY EASILY OUTSHONE HIM IN 24/25 AND Both are CBs. Also, Bassey's 24/25 campaign across several individual performance metrics and minutes played beat each of Tosin's fulham campaigns/metrics of 22/23, 21/22 and 20/21. So yeah, dead on arrival.

Frank Onyeka has improved tremendously, both in his game of duels and passing the ball. His long balls are becoming very good. |

TheSuperNerd:I have said it before on this thread, Tella is not overly impressive.. There's a reason he comes from the bench in most Leverkusen games.. However, I would like to see him in a couple more SE games, unfortunately for him though, our next games will be the qualifiers and I don't think he will make the lists.. |

With the way some individuals comment on this Osimhen issue, you would think they have been the one managing him since his Wolfsburg days. Saying what and what not. For an individual that rejected top teams after the U17 world cup to settle for a club like Wolfsburg that enables him to grow at his own pace, moving gradually from there to Charleroi to Lille where he blossomed to Naples where he won the title and golden boot after so many years for Napoli to beautiful city of Istanbul where he also won the title and golden boot for Galatasaray. What better decision would you have advised him to take? How many of his contemporaries who signed for bigger clubs after the U17 world cup are at his level today? There were no influential friends when he was making the moves that make him be who he his. Educated or not, influential friends or not, he would always take the better decision for himself. Like the elders say "He who wear the shoe, knows where it pinches him."
