Nice. I don’t even check my Panel output anymore these days cos my battery is always fully charged around 1 or 2pm Max.

Y'all who did due diligence to buy new panels are the ones enjoying. I'm suffering and smiling with 250W output from the fake 'follow-come' 550W 'canadian solar' panel I bought from alaba. cry

For me, it's been 6 months now, and it is working well. No issues. Output is great. I use it for my workstation and kitchen appliances at present.

To be very honest

Pick between longer battery back up or

Much more power on continuous watts output

That should be your reason to pick.

I would always choose an ecoflow over and over again though.
I really do not know much about power stations

Could I go off grid totally using either the within or exoflow delta

Yes you can depends on your power consumption and how many extra batteries you can afford with the delta.

Off grid means different things to different people

Imagine someone staying in a one room with few appliances

A hero ee1 can take such person off grid,

So calculate your total output against each PS and conclude.

I think people are unwilling to shift to solar (particularly power stations) because of the huge one-time cost incurred. They feel like if they buy a generator at 200k, and buy fuel with daily profits, they won't feel the dip in their purse. But in the long run (in less than a year), running a generator is far more expensive.

my estimation for using a (owned) 2.5kva generator (excluding monthly servicing, random frustrations, noise/smoke etc) for 3 hrs daily (which is not even enough to meet my need considering our nepa issues) is exactly 945k which was about the cost of the D2. Dropping that lump sum at once is a problem for many micro/small businesses.
Now the price has even dropped below 700k. Meanwhile, the price of generators and the accompanying running cost has not dropped one bit. Isn't that interesting.

P.S.

Although I bought the D2 at almost 300k over (present price is 645k), I have no single regrets owning it. It has been a beast of a gadget. Thankfully, my landlord is also running inverter, so the harsh frustrating sound/smoke of generator is something that i can no longer relate with.

P.P.S.
Nobody should ask me anymore if the Ecoflow Delta 2 is worth buying. You have enough information on this thread to make that decision. If you don't believe it, go for what you believe in.

It was a complete sham. panel couldn't have been more than 350W, but they slapped on a 550W Canadian Solar sticker to it. it was even polycrystalline. However, when my Jinko 555W arrived, the difference was very clear: in size, quality, output, etc. I combined both panels for better wattage, and I get the full 500W from around 11am till 4pm.

Solar panel. It was a Saturday and I went out. Heavy rain fell while I was away. Came back to meet a dead power station. I saw "short" written on it when I tried to turn it on. Sent an email immediately, and they came on Tuesday to pick it up. It was returned almost 2 weeks later in perfect condition. Since then, I learnt my lesson never to leave it plugged while going out for long hours.
How about the solar panel itself. Did it get destroyed?

Anybody raised a warranty claim before? My unit that I just got stopped charging and the AC output isn't coming on either.

I used it fine without issues then yesterday, after power was restored I connected it and as usual, the unit detected the charger and came on but I did not hear the fan so I checked and noticed it wasn't charging. Tried different sockets in my house, still didn't detect the charger. When I tried to use the AC outlet, noticed that one sef wasn't working. There is a notification to update firmware on the app but when I try to update, it gets stuck at 50% and fails.

Delta 2
were u able to resolve this issue and how did u do it?

Hi Bro, what’s your experience so far with Josh Product?

Mine has served me well enough for the reason I bought it so far. Except the issue of PWM not being efficient and my 360Watts panel outputting just 80Watts, I don’t feel it much since I have Nepa.
360 watts panel putting out just 80 watts is crazy

To think that I sold a D2 late last year only to buy D2 again same late last year is laughable.incurred about a 100k loss but we meuveeee.

I realized its not about buying a bigger power box but managing my energy consumption and applying wisdom.

My setup is taking shape.
D2 was picked up at Jumia pickup station in ABC Adeniyi Jones. ( D2 is now close to 2m on Jumia , this is due to demand I guess )

15m 10awg extension cable ordered and delivered by Jumia ( bought at 61k , it came with mc4 connectors already fixed in , it was a great bargain for me because I did an extensive market survey before buying) plus cable quality is topnotch.

545 watts original Eastman solar panel from device pro , they actually had jinko but I wanted Eastman for no specific reason though.

The only thing stopping me now is the mc4 to xt60 connector , it was ordered on Temu on the 29th of December. ( 12awg)

Will keep you guys posted.
I must appreciate @Twosquare for his updates which has gingered me to replicate.

Thanks to all other contributors as well.

Yea, the D2 is a beast.
Similar thing happened to me, forgot that my 1.5 inverter ac was on when l changed from Nepa to D2
The sound of the fan made me realize that a heavy load was on, after spending 5 minutes

Best product that l have bought

I don't know about this, and I won't even dare... what we were saying is while the changeover is in the generator mode and you still have the ecoflow plugged into a wall socket via the charger, then you power the whole house. The power it supplies the whole house will come back to it thereby causing a loop. And it will go epileptic.
its called backfeeding and backfeeding can raost your entire house . reduce it to ashes lol

Is this (Hithium HeroEE 2) a better choice to the Ecoflow Delta 2 ??

Is this (Hithium HeroEE 2) a better choice to the Ecoflow Delta 2 ??
Rated output is 1000W, compared to 1800W (with surge of 2700W) of Delta 2.
It has the advantage of twice the battery power of Delta 2. However, D2 has fast charging of up to 1200watts on AC and 500W on solar (xt-60). Looks like HeroEE charging capacity is only 450W DC, not clear tho.
So it all boils down to the devices you want to operate. If you're not running devices beyond 1000W, then perhaps it's a good buy.

P.S. it's a new product, so it's true efficiency might be less than what's on paper. Buy at your own risk.
