It's not a good thing to speak ill of a man who has done so much and impacted so many for good.

However, if he had not said what he said, life would still have continued. There was no need (as far as I know) to say this, especially with the knowledge that, despite staying, he still lost a son.

This is not a criticism of the man of God, by the way, just an expression of slight concern.

There are many people who have relatives with dementia. It is a difficult and painful experience. They do not need to have their issues conflated with a story like this.

Dementia does not
come to people because of their sins or misdeeds. It just happens. It can even happen to you in the course of time.

It is not an insult or something you fling at people just because they are old and they say things you disagree with. This is ageism and in another clime you could lose your job for it.
