Nairaland is the wrongest place to bring marriage topics.

Watch has this thread will be flooded by under 30 jobless men.

They will tell you how worhtless women are and how marriage is not worth it, and how they can never marry in this life.

But meanwhile, if they give you just 5 minutes access to their phone, you will open your mouth waaa with what you will see. You will see them begging women for attention and sending gifts she never asked for.

Truth is, an heterosexual man is nothing without a woman in his life. Not women but a woman. You are just not completely fulfilled no matter how much you try.

The topics of marriage that makes it to the internet are the bad ones because it is news worthy. There is no news about a working marriage. So whenever you see a marriage thread, its the bad one and people will think that is how all the marriages in the world are. But for every bad marriage and divorce that made it to the news, there are 1500 good ones that dont make it.

I have been married for 3 years and I'm loving it. My wife is the most stubborn woman I have met in my life. In fact we just finished settling one minor qurell before typing this. But she is also the sweetest gift I have ever had. I dont know what would have happened to me if I didn't marry her. She is the kindest, sweetest and most loving human being I know.

Yes, there are conflicts but we have made a decision not to go to sleep without sorting it out. And this has helped us.

Marriage is sweet for many and sour for some. But in general, train yourself to be a good and loving person and when there are conflicts, iron it out fast before it degenerates.
Oga rest, nothing special about marriage. Deal with it.

You're right! Some however, require total dissolution. For instance, If both parties' ideologies do not align, are in parallel and no party willing to adjust and compromise...
You are absolutely right. In cases where both parties have fundamentally different values or ideologies, and neither is willing to shift or compromise, continuing the relationship may only breed resentment and frustration. sometimes, walking away peacefully is the healthiest choice for growth, healing, and genuine happiness on both sides. not every bond is meant to last forever and that’s okay

by religious woman I mean the extreme religious women.. they don't believe on themselves, they don't believe on self development, they always believe that there is something negative chasing them, they put their pastor and church first before their husband.
Hahaha. This one is kinda true.
I have a friend like this. Funny she was trying to pass the paranoia to me. Always telling me a friend is out to get me/my home over things as basic as ant infestation. 😂😂😂

I understand you perfectly...

You also trying to say we should tryna lower our expectations on humans.... whether good whether bad... nothing is guaranteed but God's grace
Exactly, people think human love means never changing or constant but if we've learned anything from human history, it is the fact that what can change will probably change at some point, good or bad, enjoy the ride grin

Married men's greatest r£gr£t about marriage: you could learn from this too. Separation is better than divorce, I love that.
It is nice to see that the regrets are bore out of their shortcomings.

There is hope after all.

Bro I think we in this mess together, I married a woman I truly love and will do anything for her, but lately she changed after three kids, this woman always flirts on social networks with all caliber of men, ranging from Coco, tango and various social apps that are mainly for single ladies. The most annoying aspect is that she doesn't hide it at all, each time I tried to talk Sense into her she flares up and become violent, she will lock herself inside while she flirt with all sorts of men and refused to come out to meet me when I return from work, am just a broken man, am entirely handicapped because of the three kids that are involved, I even thought of divorcing her but looking at those innocent kids make me think twice, I just left her this afternoon because I can't stand her video calls from one of her clients laughing Merrily like two love birds, am really heart broken

Sometimes, walking away is jot as simple as it sounds with kids involved even though it us the most practical thing to do.

Absolutely, and you are right to acknowledge that. walking away might be the most logical or practical choice on paper, but when kids are involved, the emotional, psychological, and logistical layers make it far more complex. their wellbeing becomes the top priority, and that often means trying to balance stability, love, and difficult decisions. It's not about weakness or indecision, it's about doing what’s best for them, even if it takes more time or looks different than others expect. every situation is unique, and sometimes the strongest move is carefully navigating a path that protects your children, even if it’s not the fastest way out

Love is never enough.

Never be with a woman because you love her. Love is temporary.
Very true
Love is NOT enough.

she fell out of love with you. Do you believe in God? Are you faithful to her? Pray for a return to normalcy and status quo.

Because of your 3yrs experience you think you are qualified to write this long epistle and even call some people jobless.

My Brother if there's anything that is more than faithful that's what I am to her, she took the advantage that I always apologize to her even when it's crystal clear that she's the one at fault, she even went as far as telling me to call her people to refund me the Bride Price I paid and all that, now I've made up my mind because my life is more important, let her go since that's what she wants I know it's a painful decision but let it be as she wants it.

I have been at this bustop of your life, trust me. When you do this, it is very dangerous because women are like children and sometimes don't even know what they need. Even if she decides it is irremediably over, you will be fine, trust me. When my Ex-wife left the second time, I cried uncontrollably and after sometime, I found true love, heaven on earth. No man can hold your life down bro. It can be excruciatingly painful right now but you will be fine.

Humanly speaking...This is what a man gets when he marries a woman who's not consecrated....

No fear of God ... nothing...
