Of the truth, ladies don't know what they want in life, i remember when i wanted to get married i meet a young fine lady, what she told me show that they are confuse in life and also they want foods that is already done and highest bidder, she said i am old enough to be her father, i just laugh, in return i ask her that among Nigeria Governors which one is below 45yrs, and if any one of this men come your way in married will you deny or compare to your father, at that time she was 25years of age for me i am 46 years.

It's her shorthand way of telling you you don't meet up. If you did, 45 is NOT too old for ANY non-minor girl

It isn't though. If women will look at financial security and other positive gains before getting married, why can't men do the same?
What's currently trending is very good. It means that if a woman hussles hard and makes good money, she can get the man of her dreams not minding the age. Same thing goes for the men to. After all both genders are equal

I CAN NEVER TAKE A MODERN DAY WOMAN SERIOUS.. NEVER!!
Let me break it down

When we were young.
Uriel them were our age mates in the same school.

Any young guy that is her age come and toast her. She reject them.
She said she cannot date her age mate.
Instead at her young age, she was following Sugar daddies, married men 8 times her age.
She ignored her age mates and bounced them.

Time passes

She gets old and no sugar daddy wants her. Sugar daddy goes for another young girl.
Uriel feels lonely, she try to reach out to her age mates. But they have moved on.

What pains Uriel is that when she was ignoring young guys and going for Sugar daddies.
Now it's turn for young guys to ignore her and go for Sugar mummies.

You know women hate equality
They want things to always go their way. When they do it. No problem
But when men do it. Problem.

Reason why I can never listen to or take any modern day woman serious

lets face it .....this is a cultural thing .....the youruba man marry early despite his financial status why because they are not focused on fianances ...but it has been a trend that igbos marry abit older due to high bride price their men work for longer b4 thinking of settling.....its more difficult in this economy and the pressures are real so i some igbo men opt for marry older richer women and this is not the only thing they are known for too

The institution of marriage go dey interesting to observe in a decade's time. Na the offspring of these marriages I dey pity - accumulated depression and transferred aggression. grin

I won't be surprised parents would screen their children's potential partners' parents way more than the partners their children intend to marry.

To be fair, she worked on her body (naturally) and built her finances. The problem is that she cannot get pregnant but wants a man who isn't interested in having children, yet isn't open to polygamy. Things don't work that way. She has to lose some as she cannot always win.

We love deeply, no be everything be money. We respect wives and don't touch them, no matter how much she nags, we'd rather pick our shirts and walk away from home, until shes calm. Again, we've got nice gbola and we do it right. Ask any igbo woman who has married us and she'd tell you this. I dated one ibo girl back in the days. She had a bf which I knew about, cos she told me of it when I approached her. She'd be with me and tell the guy she's somewhere else. The day she couldn't hide her feelings, she voiced out and told him the truth. She even mentioned my name. She's always more comfortable being around me.
I was scared of being attacked so I had to cut it off. Na small e remain, I for be ibo inlaw today. The lady couldn't wait for me as she's the only child and they wanted her to marry early. The family's pressure made her succumb. Till today, she still tells me how much she's regretting not marrying me, saying its her only regret in life. She's comfortable where she is but momey no he everything, I repeat.

In the next 30 years, we will have more igbo as wives as yorubas.
